Google update just now? 10/4?

This is what I can see happening across my sites:

1. Whitehat Sites
My one and only whitehat authority site with hundreds of pages of quality content, images etc has dropped off the face of the earth. This is a site i regularly invest in. It's actually a hobby of mine that I have a real passion about. This site is also backed by traffic that comes from a Facebook fan page with 350,000 active and real fans along with a twitter following of around 20,000 real twitter followers.

In terms of back linking profile, this site only has around 1,000 back links. Some of those are web 2.0 with spun content and a decent amount of diversity in terms of link profiles. There is also a decent amount of organic linking to my site where people have used my images and have provided credits on their site! One link is even from the sun newspaper in the uk!

The site is around 5 years old. The last time I checked it was a PR4 site (not that even matters anymore).

Now here's the real kicker: The moment I post up any new article I easily get 400-4000 organic likes from Facebook and retweets from twitter, yet this site has been affected. So I have absolutely NO FAITH in what hummingbird or social signals are supposedly going to do for quality sites. It's absolute BULLSHIT and Matt Cutts is just a puppet for an evil organisation that has lost it's passion and original meaning.


2. Old sites with little to no link building
These sites were nowhere to be seen. All of a sudden they are climbing in the SERPS. some already in the top 10. I have done NO link building on these. Just good old fashioned on page SEO and quality content.

3. EMD's
Some of my EMD's that I was about to give up on have risen from the dead. 3 of them have gone from nowhere to climbing up at least 270 spots and sitting around the Top 30.

3. New sites
All my new sites are thriving in this new wave of SERP movements. Some have gone to Top 3, some have even got to Top 20.

4. Websites part of Blog network, Paid links
These continue to suffer in SERPS for me. They have maintained an already dismal SERP after this new alleged update.


I'm not so pissed about my non important sites that have been affected. But I am absolutely pissed that my one and only hobby site with real fans has been affected. Thankfully I have never relied on google to bring my traffic as mine comes from my social media profiles - but it's a shame i can't take my site and my passion to the next level.

my main money site with around 600 backlins ... all manual done original content. most on them web 2.0 and blog entrys of country pr blogs. whiter a page cant be ..... i thought really work for it and beeing save for the fuck google updates in the future ......

My top site which is in alexa 20k for US has vanished for every single keyword and longtail that I have ever ranked for. Hundreds of page one phrases, my site is nowhere to be found for any searches. besides "site.com" I have seens people talking about losing some main keywords and such, but has anyone else witnessed total vanishing? This blows, my site went from hundreds of uniques per day down to 27 today!!! After looking in analytics, the 10 phrases that those 27 people found my site through are now also gone. My traffic has ceased, besides a couple from bing, yahoo and facebook. Did anyone else get totally 100% nuked? Not sure if I will pull all my content and put it into a book, or buy a new domain and spam the shit out of it just to make google pay.

one of my authority site with quality content rank top 5 for more 2 years gone nowhere, some inner pages coming on page 4 & 6, 5 days ago i changed google webmaster settings from Global to USA so and after yesterday update site disappear in google dot com but in Google USA its still coming in TOP 5 On First Page ?

One of my sites went from 8 to 20 with the main keyword but today its climbing on 13, dont know maybe we should just wait a while before doing anything bad :scool:. And i also noticed that inner pages rank better.

So my site passed every panda and penguin update without having any issue. Now something has happened. I can't explain what as I've done exactly what I did since 2011 (quality web2.0 articles on high PR adult blogs, placing links in the sidebar of high quality adult tubes, placing videos on the biggest porn tubes, facebook fan page, twitter followers and G+). I have a huge link diversity and above all my link title became a microniche keyword in google (2,8k searches/month)

But the most wierd part is that my home page is nowhere to be found while my category pages appeared in SERPs. I wanna mention that I've never built one single link to any of my category pages. I have 6 category pages ranking from page 2 to page 20 and dancing like crazy. I've never ran any ads to my website and never did link exchange. I was pretty happy with my income from it ($3k - $3,5k/month) and I have never expected to be hit knowing that my site passed the previous panda and penguin updates.

I'd say that is exactly how a penalty is manifesting itself . But honestly wait for the dust to settle , you can't have a clear answer right now.

All I can tell you is that I have some friends that have received a unatural message the same day penguin was released, and at the same moment some other got their disavow approved and penalty lifted.

But hey don't panic and wait.

Two of my smaller keywords have bounced from #5 to #1 to #5 to #1 fourteen times since 10/4 afternoon lol...they just keep bouncing back and fourth like every 2 hours?

Just wait until the bouncing is over .. I am seeing jumping up and down from 1st page to 10th page on over 1000 keywords .. Analysis can be done after the update is finished completely.
