I am in the top 5 percentile of said "Rep Whores"
The majority of my rep did not come from the Lounge.
I suggest either reset everyones rep to zero....I was happier then anyway...or

over 5 yrs if ive made maybe 20 posts in the lounge
my comment merely refers to the fact that post counts
are disabled in the lounge why not rep as well
seems a logical thing, theres still the thanks button

I dont think it matters but the lounge is just somewhere to talk about random shit. If it doesnt count towards posts i dont think rep should be either.
Although dont see why a thread was created on this, since its only rep. Like who actually cares. Only ppl who care are the rep whores (successful and unsuccessful at it) lol

That's the thing. It would be nice if you could instantly look at a persons rep and know how much they have actually contributed to the forum...

I have to agree here. There are quite a few members with insane rep and when you look at their shares, its all just bullshit posts in the lounge.
Usually you would expect members with high rep to have shared a lot of good methods in other sections, but im seeing a ton of people with 3000+ rep and zero credible shares on the forum.

The other day I was having a doo at someone who made a thread about being neg reped, at some point in the thread I was enlightened upon the fact that had a more respectable member of BHW made the same thread that I would have had a different attitude / response towards the OP, so I can only take it within my duty towards the noobs to call you a c*&t.
