Best way to mass email

I believe there was a post in here somwhere about how to send emails through your autoresponder to hundreds of thousands without getting timed out from email provider. I want to avoid setting up 100's of yahoo and google accounts to send out my auto mailers. So if you can suggest a soultion that would be kick ass.
