If something can't be tested, is it worth factoring into an equation that has otherwise generated repeatedly accurate measurements? Unicorn farts cancel themselves out before even looking at the equation. If it cannot be tested, it is not worth mentioning as it does not have a cumulative effect.

What do I think is magic? An effect without a cause. If something can proceed from A - B - C then physical reality is involved, not magic.

The ability to control people without them knowing truth, such as complicated mathematical formulae/medical terms/scientific discovery, is the creation of an illusionary reality where facts appear with no history to them. This is magic, and redefines the authority of scientists to that of old priests instead of students and teachers.

Science is study, illusion is absence of study, magic is application of illusion.

Did you mean like...parlor tricks? That's all slight of hand. Watch a mass preacher make an entire audience fall over by waving his hand at them; it's still science even though it was an illusion the people thought and he acted on that with his knowledge of the truth and their lack of knowledge, creating a system that is so seemingly advanced to the audience that they get overwhelmed by what must be supernatural forces, when it is really neurons firing exactly as the preacher planned. Science to them is magic to you.

Science has a hard time proving someone is false because it is easier to tell a lie and harder to teach the truth when the individual lacks the experience to correlate with the explanation. -> Bullshit can come from anywhere at anytime and majority don't want to waste their time trying to prove who is right or wrong. Most of these things talked about is just a black hat marketing trick. Just because the brain filtered out the wrong sequence of images during a magic trick doesn't make the person smart or stupid, they just simply lack the experience of what to look for or just don't give a crap. That is how I explain that.

Those results are accurate and complete only within an interval of assumptions. The statement "gravity makes apples fall down" is valid only as long as you're on earth. If the apple is on an orbit, it still gradually falls towards earth but a lot of the specifics of the fall change.

The fact that somebody can't hear does not mean sounds do not exist. For the deaf person they don't and there's no reason for that person to care. I agree from that perspective alone. Hence he perceives everything through his own "reality slice". That does not me there isn't more out there, however. The fact I am not an athlete dosn't mean for EVERYBODY it is impossible to run a 20km marathon. It is impossible for ME at this particular moment in my life.

There is no such thing as an effect without a cause because both are words/semantics and have a given definition which states that a cause has an effect and an effect is produced by a cause. If you see an effect without a cause then YOU fail to see the cause but it does not mean the cause is not there.

I agree frauds are a problem. I agree if you lack the knowledge and experience about something you can be tricked. That however does not mean everybody is a fraud or that some of the things done as a scam are not possible for real.

Old priests - at that time they were the scientists. In old cultures the priest/shaman/whatever was the doctor and the scientist. That does not mean that the priest/shaman was necessarily a scam artist. He had limitations just like today's doctors do. If a doctor fails to cure a person's cancer nobody calls him a scam artist. Not only that but medicine as an industry is abusing the lack of judgement of regular people, pushing pills for anything and everything. Are you depressed? Take X pill. Are you having a hard time focusing in class? Take Y pill. Maybe you should go the fuck outside and have fun and stay in the nature for depression and maybe you should find a different teacher or a course you're actually interested in if you don't like this one. As a matter of fact, at TEDx a psychiatrist proposed the theory that depression might even be a good thing (stops u in your track when you're on a really bad path in your life and gives you time to reflect).

I beg to differ. Best magicians are those that study a lot. And illusion has more to do with a human being's need to believe in Santa Claus. Most people like pleasent lies over painful truth.

I don't really disagree with what you say. I don't think you're incorrect or anything. I can frame my mind to be almost entirely in agreement with what you say. I just think you choose to have a specific frame of reference and assume certain semantics. Which is quite normal. My point is, all this is just a slice of reality and not an absolute truth.
