Do you guys think I can get in trouble if I outreach bloggers, send them products and ask them to try and write about them?
Do you think this links might be dangerous in the long term?
I'm concerned about manual penalties. This obviously isn't any new thing and I believe most shops are doing it, but I couldn't find any article about "danger of doing product tests for SEO" or anything like that.

What do you think?

Thanks!!!

If it's obvious the tester writes : "brank87 gave me this product for free so I could test it" and you have an partrial/exact match anchor linking to your website, Google should be able to see that you paid for the post/link. So I think it can harm you.

What? ..... those 2 above me dont know what they are talking about.....those bloggers must have their blogs on different ip and domains and if they link to you with diversified anchor text u will be fine. G algorithm is a piece of code not a human. Feed him with the right things and u will be ok.

so that's why you have that reputation?

talking crap or crappy talking but you still have a point "G algorithm is a piece of code not a human"

what if the G algorithm suddenly sees 10-15 posts on different blogs about the same product ?! Won't his main reaction be: "DANGER!!! DANGER!!! ALERT THE HUMANS!!!" ?

exactly thanks for the support :)

Really? So if there are 100.000 blogs that talk about iphone 5s and link to one big seller....according to u that seller is fucked. Good to know.

if that seller is named BUYNEWIPHONE5SNOW.COM and his domain age is 0.01 yes he's pretty much fucked

OP, actually that one having bad rep is right while others are not. How can an ordinary/natural review can harm your site? Then many big giant ones should have been destroyed. They are always doing that.

There is nothing to be afraid of.

You didnt get the point....how many products do u believe OP can give away for some links? 10, 100, 1000? 100 links from diff domains and ips with some diversified anchor text CANT HARM HIS WEBSITE.

Thanks but who cares about reputation?....if u are smart u learn even from a newbie if he provides some good info...i got that rep from pissing on some kid thread " since i.m doing IM my mommy is sad" WHO THE FUCK CARES? we are here to make money not to win attention and simphaty.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I actually agree that if it's to bloggers with diversified ips and non-exact anchor texts it shouldn't harm. Obviously unless it's abused. If all links are coming from product reviews and somehow the website gets a manual check I think it would be fucked.
Anyways I wanted to hear other opinions and I did.
Thanks again!

Trust me first guys who replied are absolutely wrong, Reaching bloggers in your industry and getting reviewed is one of the most powerful or most loved by google or The hardest way of link building, its if you do it just great go a head.

OP please tell us of your DA>90 website :)
