What am i doing wrong?

Hey all, i've been following some guides & techniques for my wordpress blog, but aren't seeing the greatest results just wondering what i'm doing wrong? (only getting 20 hits a day (MAX)

So far i do:

- 5 Backlinks per day with Comment Kahuna
- New content (spun) every day
- Submit every article with project Green Button Bookmarking Poster
- Using keywords i got from Market Samurai & google
- Using Bidvertiser & Google Adsense
- Tracking my stats with Google Analytics
- Good domain name

Appreciate any tips/advice

We can't help you just like that.
We need to know what is the niche you're trying to get results for.

But mainly, if you're a newbie to SEO, you probably bought domain with no age, trying to hit quite competitive niche and you're waiting for results too soon with those 5 backlinks per day.

if you're doing 20 backlinks per day, nothing bad will happen. Just try finding pagerank 4+ sites for backlinks.

I didn't understand nothing , what did you expect ? to have few hundred / millions of hits within a week or so ? under the forums are loads of nice ideas how can you increase the traffic for your site ... try them / test them ...

undocredit same story here. i think the problem is with the niche and content. unique content on high demand niche goes viral it seems. as other member from BHW suggested me to stumble my pages regularly i did it and got decent 200 visitors per day. but later everything went away.

on credit card niche you wanna this hits to come from natural traffic ? you didn't do the homeworks mate .... its four months old domain ! / it's a damn it 43 urls on google indexed at the moment when I look about it .

To be Honest, you generally cannot make a good amount of money with spun and meaningless content. I'll advice you to follow some basic WH SEO and write your ORIGINAL QUALITY content. The number of posts doesn't matter but what matters is the quality of posts.

People make good money with 100's of AutoBlogs but I would advice a newbie to make just 1 or 2 QUALITY blogs. I'd prefer 1 or 2 quality blogs earning $30 a day instead of 100's of AutoBlogs/ Blogs with spun content earning $30 a day.

PS: Keep the keyword density high.

credit card niche is very very competitive. If your new at this and judging from your posts, you are then the only good advice i can give u is to find another niche, an easier one

There are certain niches that are reserved for the exalted (in this case, sufficiently financed), if you will. Credit Card is one, excuse the pun. I intuitively presume that your keyword research wasn't conducted properly, start over once more.

I find it really hard to believe you would be getting only 20 hits (so this means 4 actual visitors? 2 of them being you?) if you had any kw show up at all...

Your KW research was what? You (yes, even a new site) should be keyed in on hundreds of phrases by default? Spun content does not truly help here, but it sounds like you get zero traffic (virtually).

If you're not into throwing it out and starting again, then may I suggest you find a micro-niche of your current market and zoom in on that (or 2 or 3 of them) - write, or pay for original dedicated and directed content and win for these niches.

Now, even the 'bigger guys' (competitors) will want to link into YOU for your in-depth coverage or explanations, or offers.. giving the user more info on the topic (your website).

Make sure you are hitting all the long tailed keywords (modifiers too) - there are thousands - this IS your traffic - now show them you are the best content on the topic and you WIN, because GYM (Gaggle, Yippie!, and Lively) absolutely want to offer you (the searcher) the best and most applicable content they can find (or have in their vast libraries).

It's YOUR time, use it better, do great research (the single most important task in money hunting online) - This IS how you win organically, but proper research in your market would have told you what I just said... and I didn't do ANY research, so use your time and skills better - or find help on the important skills while you learn them.

You really need to find a sub niche inside of the credit card niche.

Locate something within your service or product that would stand out in a typical credit card debt search query.

Then, start writing content on that subject. Just keep it up until you can create a better foothold in this niche.

undocredit, I am also in the same boat as you as far as traffic is concerned. But I differ from you in few things, like-I have a more than a year old health-related blog with 100% unique and hand-written well-researched content on it that has been rated 5/5 on majority of blog sites..but still I am earning a dollar a day from that site. It sucks, and I don't know the way to go. I am not a newbie..but it seems whatever I do to promote that site, ends in vain. I am sad, I feel disheartened.

I want that you should choose a niche where there is still some hope, and you have lesser competition.
