I would do that but the thing is I have a lot of content on the site like videos which are all self hosted, so I really don't want to go through all the trouble of downloading every single video and re-uploading them.

No need to reload all your content. Go into phpmyadmin, turn off all plugins. Did you change the config files when you uploaded them? If not right now the one site is redirecting to the other. But once you have the plugins turned off and I would do the theme too, now enable them one at a time until you find the one that breaks the site. Then dont use that one. Its a pretty easy fix -- or should be.

Thanks for your reply, but I forgot to check permalink structure and the permalink messed up my image links, so just fiddled around and now it's back to full fitness haha, thanks for helping.
