Merge Facebook pages.

Can Anyone Tell Me How To Merge An Unpublished Facebook page With Published Page With Same name....

Im pretty sure the page needs to be a business page in order to merge pages

I got a page with 21k likes but hes blocked from posting..
and i made a page with the same name and few likes, merged it , but it still cant post..
what can i do?

because your id blocked
 
As far i know merging only works for business brand pages .
 
Here is mine situation, i own news portal, and has a page with brand name that has 400 fans, and then i closed restourant in my local area that has FB profile with 5000 friends and 1600 followers. I changed name of this profile into brand name, then i add admin on that profile for my brand name page, after that i convert that page into fan page, but FB didn't allow me to put brand name like a fan page name, so i add brand name + portal word on that page. All of that page was a community page, but i can't merge now that 2 pages. When i saw you write that only business page are able to merge, i edited both pages into company/organisation and sub cat news/media. But still no option to merge, need to wait some time or its not possible to do it now?

Or if you think only business page can be merged, i need to add category for that pages that are local business?

Above page links sucks..There is one more merge request form link where u can merge ur pages with same name very easily...

mate u can easily merge community page also..page need not be a business one..pm me i can help you with it.
