"LOW QUALITY BACK LINKS HARMS SEO". Everyone talks about it. And yeah this should be a true factor ! And google is aware of it.I have been thinking about something for some time and would like anyone of you to donate some thoughts on it.

PLEASE READ

*** WHAT I AM SHARING HERE MEANS NO HARM TO ANY COMPETITORS OF MINE OR YOURS ! I JUST WANT TO FIND THIS OUT LOGICALLY AND WANT TO KNOW IF ANY ONE OF YOU HAVE THOUGH ABOUT IT. IT'S LIKE .... IF YOU CAN'T BEAT THEM, THEN DESTROY THEM.BUT, PLEASE DO NOT TRY THIS ONE !!! ***

If building massive low back quality backlinks harm my site then it can harm my competitors site as well, isn;t it ? So if i just scrape an article and create ton of low quality backlinks ( duplicate content ) to my competitors site. On addition to this ... use the same keywords and blast the main site. BLAST millions of spam comments via scrapebox using proxies, will google ever find who did that ? Using proxies will sure hide some part of the work.

BUT GOOGLE IS AWARE OF THIS, RIGHT ??? GOOGLE KNOWS THESE THINGS CAN HAPPEN !!

There must be something that google has to take care of this. If you can't compete with your competitors in ranking then you can destroy them with unlimited low quality backlinks and proxies ????? Again, i have never applied this nor i encourage to do this to any one here.

This just came out of curiosity and the MODERATOR can DELETE THIS RIGHT AWAY IF THIS IS AGAINST THE RULE !!THANKS !!!

JUST A THOUGHT I WANTED TO SHARE !!

But blocking millions of site ... is a real tough job isn't it ? I mean if you have to destroy your competitor then you can build thousand new low quality backlinks each day :O

Yes, that is negative SEO and you can read many case studies about it.
Basically you can blast ton of comments with one keyword to competitor and destroy his site.
But be ready to get the same from him :)

"Real sites" will just report the links to Google to have them disavowed while artificially backlinked sites may avoid doing it to avoid attracting any more attention to their current backlinks.

In the end, Google gets exactly what they want. SEO's destroying other SEO's. Saves them the trouble.

I do not mean to try this out with any one ! Just curious if this things work in real or not :)
Yeah and thanks for your feedback . But no one will ever know ... who is doing this to who ??? You have like top 5 competitors and you destroy 2 of them. the other 3 will destroy each other !! IRONY :(

a link is a link and in the long haul it still counts as a link... and wait... NEWS FLASH .. a links is still a link :)

i hope i made myself clear but if i didn't here's the long story short: a link = a link :)

the different factors and attributes that differentiate 1 link from another are useless if your onpage is crap... unless you're talking about DA >80

keep your onpage top notch and your link profile diversified ... when this happens and someone spams the crap out of you with -1PR your keywords will still rank

Yes it makes sense but millions are links are just too hard and almost impossible to control. Isn't it ?

1k CAPTCHAS = 1.37$ or something like that
1mil = ~1000$ ...

whoever's gonna spam you with millions of bad links is a fucking retard who instead of ranking his own websites is busy trying to take the competition down

i really hope you'll get to the level where you're spammed with millions of bad links :)

Its not an exact science

You may do harm or you may actually help him out

Google expects a authority site to have a lot of low quality backlinks
So if a webmaster has refrained from making them
you would be actually working for him

LMAOOOOOOOO !!! THANKS FOR YOUR SHARE !!

IT WAS JUST A THOUGHT I WAS SHARING AND I MEAN "NO WAY" TO IMPLEMENT IT !! WANTED TO KNOW IF THAT KIND OF BACKLINK HAVE -VE IMPACT OR NOT :D

In real this has nothing to do with destroying other's site !!

"THINKING ABOUT GOING TO MARS DOES NOT INCLUDE ... BUYING A SPACE SUIT, ROCK AND ALL THE TECHNOLOGY STUFFS !! THIS JUST INCLUDES .. BEING THERE .. just because you are thinking :D "

Wink-wink!

Pat yourself on the back for realizing this theory/method or whatever you call it. :) This thing works and there is a name for it as other member mentioned. its called "negative SEO"

Depending on the sites you are targeting, throwing a bunch of low quality links is not enough to do the job. You should know what good SEO is before you can actually do intentional Bad SEO.

But judging from your OP, I doubt, you know good SEO.

Neg SEO will not work against an established authority site. Ir will not work on quality sites that have been around for a year or two.

Even if it works temporarily, at some time in the future, many of those links will start to benefit the target.

Someone ran 10,000 Russian porn links at one of my customers sites ( I even posted here asking advice), and it had no negative effect at all. Still number one in Google for over 100 search terns.

People don't realize this, but google ignores low quality links and they tend to penalize unnatural links much more often. And yes, unnatural links can be high PR ones...

yes - welcome to the new world of seo

if a website can receive a link penalty for manipulating links, they can also give a penalty to a compteitor.

the good thing is that most people that perform negative seo are retarded and spam a site with "porn" keywords which wont do anything.

off course they harm your websites ranking. Maybe at the start they can get you up sometimes but if you want rankings for long term, You must build quality backlinks. Also it depends on the website too. If you are building low quality backlinks for tier 2 or tier 3 that is ok. If you don't know about tired backlinks please search the forum first.
