Rose from a troubled youth spent in reform schools to being the world's most popular actor in his day. Check out the movie "Papillon"----great movie based on the true story of Devil's Island---one of the worse prisons of modern day history.

It reminds me of the most beautiful copy I ever heard. Don Draper from Mad Men is giving a pitch to the execs of Kodak. He wants to change the name of the prototype Kodak carousel. Only the execs have been calling it the Kodak wheel. Don Draper uses the carousel (with the old cine-screen) to show the execs old pictures of his family. Don is currently having a hard time deciding wether he should stay with his wife and family or flee with the woman he is having an affair with. That and Don Draper is a legend!

I've never heard of him but I'll have to look into him for sure. Papillon sounds interesting judging by the IMDB description.
