I would assume with SEO you do one thing multiple times. So hes going to teach someone how to do task A then the person repeats task A 5 times, while OP only has to do it once. OP does less work, gets same results. Newbie learns how to SEO by example, does work for OP. Seems like a good quid pro quo.
