I much prefer MajesticSEO as it goes a lot more in-depth and is quite accurate. It's free for your own sites, you can link up your GWT so it knows which sites are yours.

Thanks for the share however, it's always nice to check with several different sites / tools!

$20 a month after trial seems okay if you're looking for backlinks only, especially compared to ahrefs if you can't utilize the extra features.
