Youtube Staff Answers View Question!

I don't think it is possible to get the freeze lifted.

Youtube's things have not been "fixed" yet, and they probably never will.

Just wanted to thow in my two cents. Neither Tube Booster, nor TI nor TIOS is working. I clicked one video I just uploaded and every hit i made on my computer even if it was one second duration counted but if I hid behind a website proxy it displayed fine but did not count as a view. And yes I played the video half way and rthe whole video on several proxies. I think they are , as we, keeping track of proxies and not allowing them to be counted just viewed. Hope solution is found soon

mine froze at 233 views
but my account views is at 600 still counting

And by the way I respect Loxy for being kind enough to update TI as many times as he did and offer it to us. But on the other hand these to softwares are so B.S.ing when it comes to putting the blame on youtube and it will be fixed on there end soon. There is no fix on there end. TI not working is Youtube's fix and the TI and Tubebooster should admit there are reying to find a way around this fix and not give false hope by telling us to wait for youtube.

yeah I agree, tube increaser needs to stop sending out the same message, or maybe they actually don't know whats going on lol.

but for now youtube has won :(

This should be an easy software to make really. You would have to make it so that the software gets traffic from other sites like steals them for a quick 5-10 second redirect. They will count as views since they are real people and not bots or proxies.

Ok let me be honest I have a TI crack so I obvously have no access to the TI support website. If anybody here does what does it say there? I AM SSSSOOOO SURE they have been bombarded with email.

My views on my home ip work but try it thoughand online web proxy.. It will not count.

Regarding TI support response. TI has responded to me on this. I dont know if the cracked version gets the TI message stating there are YT problems and not ot increase your views. But when we (people with support) email TI for more information as suggested, we basically get a CONFIRMATION that YT did make changes that SERIOUSLY IMPACTS the bots. For those of us with multiple bots, we can confirm this.

The Official TI response right now is to state they will not be able complete testing until YT gets the new system stabilized. They are stating that They are testing every 2 hours to this end.

I personally tink YT is stabilized in the new system and that TI simply hasnt cracked it yet. Either way, TI states they will be working to crack any changes once they get the new algorithms/rules/checknbalances figured out.

This one will likely take some time guys.

I've even tested with a bot that does complete 100% beginning to end views (entire video) with an effective delay randomizer using 1 thread at a time with a different IP each time and the VIDS still froze - for VERY SPECIFIC details on the tests I performed with this bot and the checks/balances, check my post on the thread titled "lets do a Youtube Experiment" or some such.

Bottom line is I think if YT is tracking system wide volume hits from IPs and placing high traffic IPs in a 'spam identifying' queue. If 'x' number or more likely 'x' percent of hits on a video comes from a combination of the high traffic IPs, the vid view count is frozen.

I say percentage because you can run similar tests on naturally high traffic vids and the VIEW COUNT IS NOT FROZEN. - Maybe it would work on old vids with high view counts but not vids currently getting high view counts (havent tried old 'popular' vids not currently getting counts). But the point is, the percentage is likely based on how hits within a specific time frame.

Ok now my views haven't froze. The only thing is TI stopped working (as with everyone else). My new video would not count any of the views from TI but worked fine with legit hits. Since people are freezing videos with TI, I think thats proof that youtube has not become stable. If your Youtube, then you don't want views to become frozen you just want your program to not include fake hits. Now other people are getting their hits up to 200 with TI then it freazes. So those 200 hits are still being counted and are getting past the system to a degree right? Also their are videos out there that are getting all types of honors for views and comments, yet their counter is stuck on 300.

It could be possible that youtube changed its view system and the whole thing is just crashing. If that's the case then we might have to revert back to the old way. If not then we have to wait until it becomes stable again.

I have an idea guys, and bare with me, I am going to use my hacked modem and change the MAC address every 150 views. I have a really neat idea to a workaround. It involves using a timed ieframe view with changing NIC MAC every 10 mins.

If I get this to work I will let you all know, only thing is you will have to buy a pre-modded cable modem or send your SB5100-5101 to be modded. I will post my results in an hour and let you guys know.

MassM0ds,

I'd be interested to know what kind of results you got.

Anybody heard anything back from TI or our good friend LOXY regatrding any soultions?

I'm not quite sure at what your getting at here M0dz... I'm no network engineer, but it is my understanding that YT (or any web site for that matter) can not see you MAC address. From what I have learned, only end devices on the same network segment can see your MAC address. At each 'hop' (router) the source layer 2 phyical address (MAC) is stripped away and replaced with that current router's MAC address.

Please correct me if I am missing something. I do know that some applications can send your MAC address inside the payload of an IP packet, do you think that YT is doing this somehow? Perhaps with the help of Adobe?

What I am talking about is using a program called SMAC with my modem pre-mod, to change my NIC MAC every hundred views or so, and then when you change NIC MAC it in turns changes your IP address. Making the view completely new and from a new physical location. So far it is working for me.

I figure if you can change your computers NIC MAC it will change your IP address, then just use iframe as method to view. It is working for me, only thing I noticed is you would need a pre-mod modem for it to work.

to scan for fake connection bots isn't really all that complicated through the right scanning , many sites like irc chat servers have been doing it for years and i am sure YT is doing it now which wont let the views increase, so as long as programs like YI depend on proxys then it would be hard to crack YTs new system

MassModz
I would be interested in seeing if you can get past the 200 view threshold..
If you can get into the 1,000 range then you're prob on to something

I was thinking they probably are tracking Mac addresses, since it's easy enough to grab.
If they're getting 50,000 hits from the same Mac, easy ban
