Few questions regarding meta tags and descriptions

Hello everyone,

As you may or may not know i run a vBulletin forums.
I've had a look in google webmaster tools today and seen that i have Duplicate meta descriptions and title tags.

Could this hurt my page ranking in any way shape or form?

Manytimes it can hurt. If you have better tags for replacing those duplicate tags, I'll say replace them.

Its not gonna hurt your entire site. But the links that in google's imagination have duplicate meta tags will face problems. Most will be dropped and just one will rank. I am experimenting with few codes. All I know is that the last ones I tried didn't work.
