How To Increase Ranking in NON-US Google?

Hey guys,

So I was targeting a huge keyword and I am standing on Page 1 #5 for that keyword on Google US. (google.com)
And I am on Page 6 for Google UK and Page 2,3,4 on other Google Australia, Canada etc etc..

So should I keep on building back links? Or am I missing anything to rank on Google UK and all ?

This is not a website.. It is a YT video so I cannot put it on GWT.

Any help is appreciated.

E.g. A backlink from a UK based website (.co.uk) should in theory carry some extra weight towards the Google.co.uk search engine.

As far as building backlinks, you can submit country specific directory submission too.
