Yesterday I've just opened an add account and have entered Paypal as primary source of funding. Got my ad accepted and running today. The question is can I buy those $50 ad coupons from and use it on this account?

Yes you can, there's an "add coupon" option there. They want one payment method besides a coupon for a backup if you coupon expires. I have done the same thing for my campaign. I recommend getting a coupon from fiverr.

Yeah I have someone selling me a coupon but he told me I can't use it because I've already started creating ads and promoting.

it's very good to start the campaign and pay some real money 1 or 2 $ before add coupon , it's now big change not to be detected by Facebook system .

If your Facebook profile is older than a week, you have some friends and its verified with phone number you can really safely use a coupon even without paying few dollars on Fb ads in the beginning.

I added a 100$ coupon to a year old account 2 months ago (which has a credit card as a funding source) without a problem. Before i added the coupon i had made few hundreds worth of paid advertising with that account (funded with the CC).

Yes this is true. Some 100$, 115$ and 75 pounds coupons are made to be used also on old accounts.
But vast majority of 50$ coupons can be used only on accounts that have less than 14 days.

Regarding to Anyone knows legit sellers of 100$ coupons?
There are some people but actually 99% of them is out of stock.
If you will find a seller who has 100$ coupons, please let me know
