What type of proof do i need?

If i open up an LLC, what type of proof do i need to have of where my items come from?

I want to open up an LLC and expand my online sales. From what i read, a legal business has to be able to provide where the items came from or have some type of proof these items are legit and such. Otherwise it would be considered illegal import of goods? Also, if i don't have proof of my items, what do i show if my business ever gets audited or my accountant wants to do my taxes and wants to see how much i have spent on items.
