There are no mistakes, only lessons to learn from.
whatever the guy said^Getting complacent too fast too soon.
Not milking all of of it.
Being "nice" to people.
Believing IM is about internet marketing.. when in reality it's all about business. You don't necessarily need to have SEO tool when you can just outsource the seo part. And you don't necessarily need to write content when you can hire writer.
Reading Everything on BHW and not taking action.
for me:
- lack of focus
- try to do\learn everything at the same time
- wasting money on crapy wso's
- buying stupid domains (who knows)
- start too many websites without finishing one
My advice as someone in this business for 2 years and only now starting to make money (albeit small atm) is don't waste valuable time learning how to code, set up website, backup databases, restore databases. Yes this info is helpful but it will take you a long time to learn from scratch.
The thing is, and you probably don't realise this now, is that everyone who enters IM enters with a stop watch attached to them counting down the time until they will lose interest in IM and go back to trying to find a regular job. With that said, you must cut through any unnecessary mistakes or time-wasting tasks right now so as to give yourself the best chance of making some good money before the stop watch times out and leaves you wanting to leave IM becuase you didn't make any money while you were in it.
Outsource all technical stuff.
