Should i shift to oscommerce?

K so i have been thinking about this for quite some time now and would like to make the change.

well that site has been made in plain old html, and is kind of ugly for todays sites and when compared with other sites in my niche, also i use a siomple affiliate link that redirects to the target page. I would like to use a data feed and a proper shopping cart.

so I was thinking of using oscommerce as my shopping cart script.. should I??

will it effect my ranking, im thinking it will as all the URL's will change.. so how can I prevent this...

also do you guys recommend any other alternative to this?

oscommerce is a good script. idk how it is for seo tho.

Do a search on here for nulled Interspire Shopping Cart - it is approximately 1 million times better than OSCommerce. (And that's being kind to OSCommerce)

k thanks.. but ive never used nulled scripts before.. but i may just start with this one.. since i am already ranking high, can i get in trouble for using a nulled script..can it be determined that its nulled?

also when u say better than oscommerce, do you mean SEO wise?

Oscommerce is good platform for designing a website for shopping purpose. So depends on your topic and idea of what your are going to make.

i wont be designing it, like i said in my first post, i already have a domain thats doing good, but its in plain html, i just have to convert the site to oscommerce..

ill most probably be using a template

im just asking how it will effect my rankings and how can i prevent it??

don't go with oscommerce, it's bad for seo unless you install 200 modules and it's a pain in the ass because you have to manually insert and modify the code.

The best alternative is Oscmax. It's built on oscommerce but it's seo ready. The url are search engine friendly, you have header tags for each item etc..

also what do you guys think about zencart from an SEO point of view. I could not find any decent templates for OSCMax so thats why im not going to be using it.. so any experiences with zencart?

shall you take into consideration cube cart , I think is far away better than other ecomerce scripts , and for the links which you already ranking high on search engines just use 301 redirect ... will have high chances to keep the ranking if you are telling to the spyders where you moved the site .

It can be seen that you are using a nulled script if you leave the Inters1pre link in the footer - mousing over shows that it is Anonymized. This is very simple to take out completely though.

I was building OSCommerce and Zen Cart sites for clients for 2 years previously. An SEO mod rewrite add-on is available for keyword URL's with both - standard feature with Intersp1re. If you do decide to build OSCommerce then you can always then build an Intersp1re store and then import your OSCommerce, Zen Cart or Cubecart products automatically via the wizard in the Intersp1re admin panel.

Cubecart mentioned by someone else is fairly good - I can't stress though how good the Intersp1re cart is, it's got great features, set out with the best user and admin interfaces of the lot, and is so, so much easier to customize.
