I know that the SEO lies report has been shared here before, but I wanted to share the mindmap inside the report. I think it could be helpful to members who want to get good rankings in the search engines.

dope shit right there! I saved that to my comp. Definitely good chart. I never thought of it quite this way, more like in a list format. :)

Nice mind map have actually been putting togethere my own series of these, to help me in my own campaigns. I take it the arrows are pointing the wrong way and those are incoming as opposed to outgoing links right. Also where can I get a copy of the SEO lies report?

Personally, I think the best SEO is solid content, good links, good structure, etc. all the best practice stuff.

Brilliant mind map. Howie does something similar with tag clouds. One thing I would like to add to the mind map is arrows from every single web 2.0 property back to the landing/sales page. Once you have done that. For every keyword. (say 10). Prepare for domination. Mixx is definitely up there with web 2.0 properties like digg I must say.

Its funny how the SEO map looks like the map to happiness...lol

The following is a question i recieved and just answered. Figured that there may be other people asking the same question, so heres the answer:

First off thanks for you contributions to the forum I have read a few of your threads and they have helped me out-

Im working on some seo stuff and had a few questions about this map below
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/63443-search-engine-optimization-mind-map.html

What does keyword A, B, and C stand for? Are these subpages within the webpage itself? And does landing page represent the 'home' or root page of the website?

What is the easiest way to social bookmark a page on many networks?

And you mentioned having all of the web 2.0 properties linking back to the original landing page? How does that work?

What those keyword bubbles represent is each keyword. The arrow pointing to all the web 2.0 properties such as squidoo just mean that you will be making a squidoo lens based on that keyword. I.E the chosen keyword will be in that squidoo url you create (
Code:
http://www.squidoo.com/mykeyword
). The same goes for all the web 2.0 properties that the arrows point to. A web 2.0 property is basically a web 2.0 website. Web 2.0 Properties come in two main catergories: Social Bookmarking, and Weblogs.

When you said the word subpages it reminded me of subdomains. This is a new thing that Howie Schwartz is doing. Hes buying domains like
Code:
www.review.com
so he can build subdomains like
Code:
www.acaiberry.review.com
. Clever huh? (Google LOVES keywords in your url, put your main url in there). He bought review.com because review is a BUYING keyword. Which means that when a person searches for a product REVIEW, they are looking to buy it. Most if not all of the good buying words are taken, but you can still buy domains like reviewdiscount.com (so basically jumbling two buying words into a domain which imo is better than a single word as you are hitting two birds with one stone).

What's the easiest way to bookmark a page on many networks? Depends, I tend to just do it manually on a few good social bookmark sites like digg, mixx and delicious. I imagine bookmarking demon is the best tool for this, if theres anything else I would like to know.

How does linking web 2.0 properties back to the original landing page work?

For example you are promoting acai berry. And you made the squidoo lens:
Code:
http://www.squidoo.com/buy-acai-berry
. You write the review or copy and paste one in there. (Duplicate content does NOT get penalized). Then you have a buy now button that links to your affiliate link, i.e:
Code:
www.acaiberry.com/r=you
.

This is where you can use a domain/subdomain. If you bought a subdomain like reviewdiscount.com (for the domain use keyword research to determine which buying keywords related to your niche are searched for most) .org or .nets are the best alternatives. .orgs are probably the most trusted as they imply the site is a non-profit organisation. Create a subdomain for that site (simply use your main keyword as your subdomain name) e.g acaiberry.reviewdiscount.com.

With each web 2.0 property use the (ten maximum) best keywords related to your niche in the metatags, or in squidoos case, the tag widget or whatever its called. How do you know what a great keyword is? It is a keyword that has a high daily search rate, versus a LOW search result. It is also a keyword that has the most adwords ads in the results, and has the best buying keyword in the phrase, i.e the word 'buy'.

Oh one more thing. If you buy your domain through godaddy.com you can simply redirect/mask the domain and/or subdomain to your affiliate link. It is the best way to cloak your link.

Hope this helped. Any questions feel free to ask.
