5% CTR - First Crack at Facebook Ads

Just started a facebook ads campaign on a page
which I intend to build into a brand/community.

So far targeting UK, USA and Australia only and this
is my results so far which I think is pretty cool. Will be
interesting to see how this translates into metrics down
the track.

This is a brand new page which I haven't monetized
just yet. I'm looking at building a solid base with ads
and hoping that will drive organic growth. Which I will
then hopefully convert into a bit of business.

That said, I'm not looking to necessarily profit from this
experience, rather its a learning one.

Lovely. How long will you run your ads today? Are you split testing it with other ads?

Very interesting. I wonder if FB ads will be an alternative for publishers as well, going outside of FB...that'd give adsense a run for their money.

Never heard of "greg davis" will do some digging
around on him and see if it is "his" supposed method.
I doubt I would be the first person to think of this.

Before I share my stuff, I want to make sure I can do
two things. Firstly, I'd like to see if I can duplicate the
method. If I can't then it's no point trying to share as
you'll probably just lose money as it could be a fluke. Secondly,
I'll have a crack at monetizing it, as that will definitely be
cool.

Very nice numbers and It's refreshing to read that you're prepared to write this off as a 'test'. So, for that comment I give you a big pat on the back!
