Hi y'all,

I'm trying to find the best (accurate), free, backlink checker to see how many inbound links I have to my domain.

I'm currently using Google Webmaster Tools, but was wondering what are some other good ones to try.

Thank you.

IF you own your site, the webmaster tools is the best one i know of right now since YT backlinks were pulled down. People will mention ones like

http://ahrefs.com/
http://www.backlinkwatch.com/

then stuff like
traffic travis
seo spyglass
majestic . . . .etc.

but to be honest, i don't see anything out there today that is really that i think is giving you a better slice of your site than google webmaster tools. Problem is its so limited

- you need to own the site
- you need to surrender to the big G

Lets see what kinda heat people post here. .. doubt your going to get a really conclusive answer

Thanks folks.

Yes, I've briefly perused through the ones you've mentioned, and have also been advised that "Google Webmaster Tools" seems to be the best thus far.

MajesticSEO is awesome, nothing beats it.

yes, i as well find that "MajesticSEO" is quite resourceful.
Thank you.

QUESTION:

I'm trying to see the backlinks pointing towards my competitor's domain, but both ahrefs and majestic only allow you to view a maximum of 500 actual links.

Is there any other program/tool which will allow me to view all backlinks (URLs)?

Majestic SEO for checking the link popularity.

Linkscore for analyzing samples of link building you do for your site.

You can use SEO SpyGlass to check competitor's backlinks.

I use seo moz to track no follow and do follows backlinks of any sites.

Backlinkwatch is already dead for me! it only give me 0 backlink every time I try to use this tool. Even when google webmaster said my site has about 150 backlinks. Can someone recommend other more accurate and free tools to me?, thanks.

backlinkwatch is the best one so far i tried as a free tool. It seriously shows my high quality back links.

You can not go past Ardor Backlink Checker ardorbacklinkchecker.com
This is the most powerful backlink checker. It gives a graphical representation of links by TLD and anchor text.
Unbeatable!

I use a free new service on seosim, there is no limit on how many links, and a lot of checking options.
