MODS Where is BlackHatWorld Radio Thread?

Consider just going with Black Hat Radio (BHR). You obviously have the support of most everyone here and on top of that why limit your market by calling Black Hat World Radio? Even though this is the best black hat forum, it isn't the only one.

well, messages have been sent to dave. lets all just cross our fingers and hope he likes it. I hope he is able to view the original thread. It really speaks to the amount of interest and community approval there is. I'm ready to continue moving on this as soon as its approved (if it is).

Like everything around here everything has to be approved first if it's using out users it's to protect everyone and this is a scenario where not saying you would or will I know you won't but say two weeks down the line you sell membership on the site and things go wrong it's using our name and advertised here so that's where things get nasty

Just be patient and go through normal procedures even know your not selling it's close to advertising another forum rule even know it's not a forum it will be same category of things
We don't know if you will be running ads or nothing much
Your best pming me or dave full spec and your plan an the nature of why you want to do it

End of argument let's not make this thread turn nasty

But it's only in the nature of preventing things go wrong and protecting our trustful name

you mods can do what ever you want, and normally i don't have a problem with it, but there's something to be said about being fair in your decisions...if you had to close/remove the thread that's up to you guys, but it was fair to explain why...

Your welcome, arthas was also explained on IRC the reason why it was soft deleted (meaning its not permenantly deleted)

So we have to go through these measures. AS we have even seen VIPs recently (uptownbulker etc..) becoming scammers, so we like to keep things like this strict as it could harm us.
Arthas even if this is going to be ad-free no cost, etc... nothing is going to really make anyone believe that in 2weeks from now you could change it to a newsletter email captchering site when things are getting popular then mailing them all products pretending to be from our staff.
50% of the newbies here would think we are affiliated just by using that domain.

This would take a full staff vote to be agreed on to let this come or go.
Nothing personal it would be the same for one of our executives / mods, nobody really gets special treatment here.


Now dont get me wrong its a great idea and all that but you could have instantly been able to promote it somehow if it didnt involve BHW i guess. But give it a few days and im sure we will talk about it inbetween our staff sections here, and let you know what we think.

Personally i think its a great idea, but i want to honestly know why you want to do it, or whats going to be in it for you?

Arthas, I told you to get Dave's permission FIRST. Why did you jump the gun? What part of "get his permission first" didn't register? Beta or not, he has to agree to the idea of it first. FFS you got to follow the rules like everyone else.

And if you (or anyone else) want to know why a thread was deleted, send us a PM. Use the "Contact Us" link at the top of the forum. I've said this several times already. In fact, this very thread is in violation of rule #7...

An explanation could have been given, yes. But it would have been just as easy for Arthas to PM a mod (any mod) to ask why. And in this particular case, he already knew beforehand not to create this thread.
