It's that time again...

I want to make money online. Enough to travel the world and never work a conventional job again. I don't know a lot, and I haven't made much. I'm the archetypal story of squandered potential.

I have a site in the gaming niche. This is mostly a hobby and an experiment, and involves an upcoming game that I am passionate about. I don't expect to make much money from this site, but I enjoy working on it.

I have another site that I've just started building, which I want to make profitable with adsense and clickbank.

I've also just started working on an ebook. Non-fiction.

I want to put out 3 articles per week on each site. Quality, well-written content. This is the easiest part of the job for me.
I want to create 1 ebook per fortnight. This is for kindle, on amazon.
I will be using youtube as an affiliate for clickbank. I will be using fiverr services for my videos.
I will most likely be investing in link-building services.
I will also be using social media where applicable.

Day 1

Went surfing on Sunday, didn't accomplish much.

Today:
Site #1
- Changed background, happy with how it looks now.
- Added social media icons.
- Uploaded pics to facebook and twitter pages.
- Added 1 article.

Site #2
- Found a theme.
- Added background.
- Finished front page.
- Added 1 article.

Ebook
- Added an extra two pages.

Also started my keyword research for third site.
Bookmarked several fiverr gigs for potential advertisement videos, as well as artists for book covers.

Practised my coding. HTML, CSS AND PHP. Very tedious but(imo) very essential.
I'm also working on my photoshop and illustrator skills.

Day 2

Site #1
Didn't really do anything. I'm taking notes from demo footage to put out a big article either tomorrow or thursday.
A little bit more fine-tuning before I get it on Google News. That should bring in some nice traffic.

Got another article up.
I'm not sure how much content I should have before I apply for adsense, but I think I'll get 10-15 articles up first, then I'll get a link building service.

Nearly finished with big article. Will post it tomorrow.
Contemplating applying for adsense. It won't make much in the gaming niche, but it might look more professional. *shrug*

Got another article to go up. So far it's been 1 article per day. There's a lot to write about, but it might be wise to release one every 2-3 days.

Got 4 pages completed. I want to finish the first draft tomorrow.

Tomorrow I'm going to do some more keyword research and start looking for a good product to promote.
Finding a good niche is an interesting challenge.

Day 4

Site #1
Uploaded part 1 of big article.
Part 2 will go up tomorrow, then I will have another unrelated article going up the day after. Once that's up I'm going to apply for adsense and Google news.

Another article up. Already ranking #41 and #44 for two of my keywords :)
10 more articles and some serious interlinking and site organizing, then I'll apply for adsense.

Poor time management meant a lack of keyword research and coding practice. No excuses.

5 pages done. Edited first chapter.
I will add a little bit to each chapter as I edit and maybe another chapter altogether. When I'm finished I'll then order a gig for the cover.
I'm going by a fairly generic pseudonym, which I will make an fb page for.

-Added the articles to my news slider.
-I decided the project was too big for only 2 parts, so part 3 is going up tomorrow, then my blog piece later in the week.

I am now ranked on page 3 for two keywords, and page 5 for a third.

Next article almost finished. Going to schedule for the 17th.

Going to write 10 articles this week and drop them tri-weekly.
It's important I plan where I'm going with the content, it's a little all over the place at the moment.

Hi.

Put the finishing touches on Site 1. Got an about us up and a privacy policy up. Changed the front page to a news feed of my latest article.

My fb fan page has finally started gaining some momentum. Twitter... not so much. Still not ranking for main keywords, except for a couple of long tail with very low searches.
This isn't that big a deal though, as I expect to be on google news soon.

On Site 2 I have reached my target of 10 articles. Have an about us and privacy policy sorted. Will soon have 10 more articles ready to release every three days. When the 11th article goes up, I will be applying for adsense.

At that point, I will likely be investing in a link building service.

Still not ready to commit to a 3rd site. Finding a keyword that I am confident in ranking for is proving difficult, but I'll get there.

I canned my last ebook. I decided that it wasn't the direction I wanted to go with my kindle aspirations.
Currently plotting the story for a new one. Will make it a good one.

I now have more time than ever to work on my projects so I'll be very busy and regularly updating.

Set a holiday target for early next year, so I gotta kill it! Thanks for following.

Starting to get established now.
Have already surpassed last months visits.
Fb page and twitter are growing daily.
Have just put up adsense. Still awaiting word from google news.

10 articles up.
Have just put up adsense.
Ordered cheap link building service. Now I wait for it to deliver.
When it delivers, I'll be promoting an affiliate product through this site.
I'll also create an accompanying youtube review.

Kindle is still in the cards, currently writing.
