Just curious as to whether or not we can feed the application parameters through a batch file and then schedule it to run. ie: keep an automated DB of fresh proxies.

The main function of software is to give you pool of fresh proxies. You can set unlimited filters and unlimited rules to autoupdate proxy files on hardware, your site via FTP or local server.

Not using one, I put it on a clean install of win 7 64 bit. Dot Net and everything is installed and the Windows Firewall is disabled.

I got a review copy of the tool few days back. The best thing about tool is it just works. You have to just press a button and starts delivering best public proxies available. You can load your own sources too.
Also, it runs at up to 300 threads which is great.
The another important factor is its price. Its priced at 47$ and it makes it a sweet deal.

Some clarifications about threads count.
The number of checking threads in ZennoProxyChecker is unlimited
300 - set as a default value, which is comfortable to get started and it is supported by any provider and the computer. The program can automatically test your network equipment to determine the maximum number of threads, or set it by hand. Many ISPs limit your connection from 1000 to 3000, although some modems/routers has 300-500 limit.
If you set ZennoProxyChecker to the server in the data center, you can achieve impressive results!
We were able to test at a speed of up to 15,000 threads simultaneously on a regular server.

I will start by saying that this is the most impressive piece of software I have seen. It's beautiful and easy to use. Can be used by both noobs, and advanced users.
In a few clicks, you can make the app start finding new live proxies without messing with its settings or sources (which I strongly suggest you do. Spend some time, find the best proxy sources, and you'll have guaranteed working proxies everyday)
Before ZennoProxyChecker I manually scraped the proxies, and tested them with a simple bot I have coded. Now I have it all setup to scrape and test new proxies every morning, with the click of a button.

I bought this software weeks ago and it will not run on Windows 8 64 bit. I have Microsoft Net 4.5 installed. I've tried to Skype you multiple times and no one replies.
The error is "Internal Protection error, please contact author" The program does NOT Run.
Refund me or tell me how to fix it.
