Yea...this is how you get your site knocked back to page 4 or 5. Been there done that. Never make the text the same color as your background. This is how people normally keyword stuff and try to cover it up.

Google doesn't look at the style sheet (CSS), only the html, so it doesn't know that it's not visible to humans. If you want to ranked quickly (as this dude does) stuff it with keywords, you will rank well for a few days and then prob be de-indexed.

Yeah, they don't work for long term rank (they used to), but you will get rank quick, but not for long.

I don't think you people understand, your not making the text the same colour as the background in the html, your doing it in CSS. It makes a huge difference!

Register new domain containing the keywords you like to rank for. If the .com is free, even better.

Create some index page with more than 700 words,keyword anchor text that links back to your site and keyword anchor text that links back to some other sites but with nofollow (not more than 6 links with the same anchor text), sitemap, then ping.

Spam for links.

if your site is about fish, put this at the bottom of your page in whatever your backgorund colour is:

and make that its own style sheet where the colour is backgorund colour and the font size 0. Same thing as the shit above but more important becauseits in your h1

is this going to work?? I tried this method a while ago and saw no results with it.

I just started using this method, but my blogger and wordpress blogs are now ranking higher for my keyword than my desired site is. Plus I don't see any backlinks coming from the blogs.

What you want is to make sure google has an eye on your site as fast as possible by creating relevant backlinks..

I would do two things..

1st : Create cheap screensavers in 5 minutes and use the technique suggested on 30minutes backlinks to get xxx backlinks from the software directories.

2nd : its a pain in the a$$, but I found this method on two different websites.. and It actually works good, though boring and simple.

I've got a question about pinging and WordPress. I've got a bunch of posts on a blog that need some small updating - a bit of text, tag adjustment, etc. If I do all of this editing at one time, will I risk any problems from so much pinging at one time?

Also, I've read that when you update a post, WP pings with the blog homepage, not the specific post's URL. True?
