For best results you want unique content- so that would be just 1 blog -- especially for your tier 1 links.

You can also spin that article, it's also best to do it on the sentence and word level, and then use the spun articles to post on numerous Tier 2 links. Or you can use them for your Tier 1 links as well.

Always try to use unique content as much as possible, and when you have to spin the content to post to multiple sites.

My experience is that it is often much better to submit the exact same article to different sites.

There is no problem as this is article distribution and not seen as duplicate content (which is the same article on different locations on a certain domain).

It is generally assumed that the search engines do not harm content distribution as, i.e., news sites that often distribute content from different channels, would be hugely hit by now.

Imho the distribution is also much better than spun content as the article as actually readible and provides some value to the target site.

Good post. Duplicate vs Unique is the age old question that nobody will ever agree on. I've done it both ways and I can't tell if there is a difference. I try to post unique on each tier 1, but sometimes I get lazy and post the same article across the board.
