Getting past US Customs and Border Patrol

Shipping things from overseas into the US of items with a copyrighted logo on them. Customs has been confiscating them sometiems and sends a note to the delivery address.

What are ways to get through this with out confiscation? Is it as easy as putting a $10 bill and a note of "Customs, please take care of my package, thanks." Or would they just take the money?

Any other ideas on getting items through?

Haha.. I've been through this one a lot.. Once a from address is flagged it will happen over and over.. You need to change the from address all the time to increase your delivery rate. Likewise, the receiver's address can be flagged too which can lead to the package being set aside for closer inspection. Again, they work off of addresses. There is not much you can do when the receiver's address is flagged.

Thanks, drugs that might make sense. Copyright products wouldn't make sense. Shipping air freight with major shipping companies.

I was concerned about this. Thought maybe the shipper name and address were "Flagged". Is this what you have seen? Do you need to change your shipping address... or can you change shipping companies? For instance I think fedex has their own customs clearance group. But if you changed to UPS.. it would be a different group and not be familiar with the shipper/address?

Lol, needless to say I'm pretty stubborn.. But if there's a will there's a way. I'd just focus on addresses. When I used to order stuff over seas it would literally have a different return address and name on it every time.

Can I ask what your getting sent? Getting stuff past US customs and border patrol is extremely difficult. I'm from Australia and getting schedule 1 drugs into the country is hard, not impossible, if I was going to do it, which I never would. I would firstly ask a mate to take the package, secondly get the sender to reduce smells with those suction bags, then I would disguise it as something harmless. Such as a birthday card or something. Packaging depends on what the product is so Its hard to give advice. There are people from customs that leak secrets and stuff, you just need to know where to look.
