Tikona Broadband is SUCKS!!

I bought Tikona broadband for the SEO work which i need atleast 4mbps speed which i got but after the Tikona installation done and connection start working i am facing the connectivity issue + LAN cable issue which is always down. Did anyone used or using Tikona in India and can share their experience. Seriously stay away from those crap.

It Will have connection issue's as this is the problem with tikona and there service is not very good as well when it comes to connectivity problems.
 
Tikona sucks big time in Kol that's all I can say. Not sure about your city.
 
Hey dude,

I am from Pune, India and Yes I used Tikona wired connection at my home for SEO work. It is good but not the best. When it comes to costumer satisfaction they really sucks. They increase price of plan without any intimation and the speed is also depends on the area you are living. So if you near from their internet tower, you will get speed.
But all in on they really sucks better to use other suppliers like BSNL, TATA .

I too came across this service provider and wondered how come they are selling so much high transfer rate plans for such a low price, now that i know most of you have had bad experiences i will let one of my close friends know about it.
 
Tikona sucks in Delhi. I saw google ad of tikona on TOI(times of india) site and clicked it. Since then I got bombarded by retargeting ads of tikona and tried it and had lot of downtimes :( I have used if for 2 months and currently I am on pacenet internet and it works without any issues. Paying 1800 bucks for 2mb unlimited and the speed is 2mbps or thereabouts all the time.
 
Tikona Sucks everywhere man, I am from india. You must get MTNL or Hathway can also help you .
 
Actually the issue was the place where i am living only have 3 companies Airtel, BSNL and Tikona. I tried all Airtel is good but expensive like BSNL so i am using Tikona. Yes customer service is very poor. Each time when you call different person say different words. Now i just told them to disconnect my internet and refund my amount. My connection was established on last 1 week before. So bad why like metro cities only have good companies ISP..:(

you asked them for a refund i highly doubt they will even provide that...

it is highly unlikely that you will get a refund.Even if you manage to get a refund you will have to hassle them a lot. You are right when you say you dont lave lot of ISP options in lower tier cities. I lived in pondicherry, only BSNL offered state wide coverage.Reliance ,airtel and other networks only provide coverage in some areas. BSNL was good there .Never had downtimes(may be once in couple of months). And if it happens I used to take my modem and go to BSNL exchange office and get sorted out in an hour :)
 
I faced lot of problems with Tikona two years ago. They didn't give me required speed for the plan i choose. Their support staff during technical failure is unresponsive. Tikona extended my billing date to three months after i terminated my connection. They harassed me a lot to pay for the unused bandwidth. The recovery agents blackmailed me to pay the money or else they wud take legal action against me. It was a big pain in my ass. Finally i managed to get rid of this headache after consulting my friend's dad who is a lawyer. Please don't go for Tikona. Go for a better ISP like Youtele or Reliance.

why dont you buy, airtel 3g broadband service , its very cheap

1200 - 1300 inr and 60 gb data
2300 inr 120 gb data 8mb speed for both.
 
If you have beam broadband services available then go for it... I used them for 2 yrs when I was in HYD, they provide excellent services.
