Hi, I am Spokonzaga Pete, one of the long time investigators who exposed this guy in the above video. We are hoping to shed some light on the real problem every website experiences with identity fraud, new account fraud, harassment, and financial fraud online. The finacial cost of fraud is rising by 75% or more per year. In 2008 the financial losses of internet fraud were approx 500 mil. In 2012 the losses to internet fraud were estimated at 3.5 billion. in four years it has risen to a higher dollar amount than "non-internet" fraud. And yet our politicians, corporations and law enforcement do little about it in this industry. The rapid rise of technology that allows anyone to register with ebay, a bank, paypal or to get 5 disability checks from the government under false identities is only getting worse!

Our team of youtubers and ebay sellers are trying to expose what is being sold and promoted as "Stealth". A system by which various technologies and anonymous information is used in concert to mask or create synthetic identities in order to defraud anyone at anytime. And what is worse, is that the more a fake identity actually succeeds, that history is "remembered" on the internet and it will come up in future "soft credit checks" as a real person. Like all crime and counterfeiters, the crooks are always one step ahead. But the crooks RULE the internet and can operate unabated with "Stealth accounts"

e-commerce is particularly at risk of identity fraud and especially NEW ACCOUNT FRAUD. New account fraud often requires numerous types of identity fraud in order to subvert a copmany or agency's security and firewall by simply posing as someone else (ID theft) or inventing a false ID (ID fraud) in order to access the products, services and other honest members who trust the security measures of the website.

Take ebay. Ebay has one of the most up-to-date computerized identity verification systems in the world, yet a person who has been banned 100 times from ebay, can still get back onto ebay and every member once again is at the mercy of this person. ebay knows this happens and they have built a system around it , but they never report the crimes and stolen fees, and they put the risk on their members. Perpetuating the fraud and actually rewarding the scammers who RARELY if ever, get caught and they can just come back and try again. With another tactic. EVERY website is at the mercy of "fraud accounts" and we have determined that "Stealth" and New Account Fraud specifically and currently already falls under the DMCA laws for identity fraud and illegal entry and use of intellectual property and services! Not to mention almost every other type of fraud if business is conducted and repetitive scamming occurs as an illicit business. Organized new account fraud if you will. It is the new organized crime.

This man above who goes by the name "ebayisajoke" on youtube is admitting to still creating and using fraudulent "stealth accounts on ebay in what can only be described as an "Identity fraud and New account fraud Racket" on ebay and everywhere else.

Your voice in protecting VPN and IP masking for defensive purposes is important, but we must demand our police, FBI and IC3 authorities enforce laws that are on ALREADY the books to prosecute those running the extremely costly and destructive identity new account fraud rackets on nearly every major online marketplace in the world.

But I urge anyone who cares about the future of e-commerce to think about how bad it will get if this trend is allowed to continue and now is the time to create an "Internet identity system" that does not rely on individual corporations to determine a truthful identity. A notarized and validated internet "P.I.N. number" (Personal Internet Number) in conjunction with the rights to a VPN IP address (expanding IP address management to a decimal range) to acheive unlimited anonymous IP addresses and provide anonymity at the browsing and surfing level, but will ensure accountability and safety against e-commerce fraud, identity fraud, teen bullying, child predators and even terrorism. Our society would not function if we could walk around in a mask on the streets and in banks and stores!! Why do we allow it in the internet!!

Help us fight for a personal internet identification system similar or in conjunction with DL's or SS#'s.

Not my intention. But what are the drawbacks? We have ID required in real life, why not the internet life. More business and communication is done there each year and soon it will be the majority.

The only people who agree with me are those who have lost loved ones or who have been e-robbed, threatened and ID stolen. Problem is people already create fake identities by altering their hair color, eye color or even going as far as plastic surgery. You can drive 100 miles away from your home address and use a fake name in another city that's never seen you before. Wear a hat/sunglasses and it won't be easy to get identified.

Stealth hurts EVERYONE IMO. Stealth is not MADE to scam but what you don't admit is that anyone CAN scam with it. your own ebayisajoke has showed the world how to do it using stealth on his youtube videos! When people sell stealth accounts or teach people how to do it, there is no way to know what the person is going to do with it. No way to tell at all!

I agree with everyone about ebays corruption and extortion policies! Ebay does illegal things especially with paypal. But that does not give me the right to steal from them or other ebay members. When corporations break the law to strong arm their own customers, ebay breeds distrust, stealth and revenge. He had videos explaining how to false SNAD with stealth, he explains how to extort with ebay and paypal, he asks for money and "donations" to buy accounts, he threatens and harasses anyone who questions him on his obvious unethical and illegal behaviors. Why deny the fact that stealth in the wrong hands is very destructive? So us victims had to send a message to the public via Fox news. The inability of your own community to weed out the bad apples is part of the problem. But ebayisajoke is responsible for his behavior. Stealth was not made to scam people, I agree. But everyone here knows that stealth in the wrong hands or with malicious intent is dangerous if they want to burn accounts in an aged and scheduled manner. Accounts are not free and they take time to make and plan.

Ebay does NOT have perfect protection in place to stop stealth scams once the stealth account gets on the website in the first place. The account can false SNAD whoever they want and never get a neg (BRING BACK BUYER FEEDBACK) Sellers can build up feedback with petty items and then list 20 iphones after 4-5 months of positive feedback and have the money go into a stealth paypal account?!?!?! Yes, and here is the pattern for a stealth abuser: Build the accounts, age the accounts, burn the accounts.

Some stealth accounts are older than aspkins e-book "ebay Stealth" (which I have read). Great and BTW, I agree ebay should have a way for all sellers to get back on so they don't have to come on with a fake identity. ebay needs to stop terminating accounts and just delete the feedback and history. Maybe put them on probation and lose the free listings or something.

IMO stealthers need to deal with ebayisjoke and his embarrassing representation stealth and all who use it safely and honestly.
