Will .info domain rank just a well as .com and .net for LOCAL SEO. keyword + city?

If you have specific experience ranking these pls share... it's a big world with many cities... interested to hear any true case studies on this. Thanks in advance.

i dont remember when last i have seen .info domain name rank on first 2 pages in google you can try buy country name extension domain ..

Register a business with Google Places, verify the business location.

If it's just a website with no fixed physical locations, perhaps get citations anyways, as the majority of the ones I tried had no verification process.

I don't know how else to get local results otherwise.

In my experience, .info is harder to rank than .com and .net. I recommend country extentions, like .co.uk or .de for local websites.

.info = information, .net = network, .com = commercial.
Get your contextual domains right and you're some way to knowing SEO.

info sucks...there may be exceptions but info should not be your option to go with.

even in my exp i noticed that .info domain is bit tough to rank. but .com is pretty much easy.

According to google, ALL generic extension are the same.

Info is treated the same than com or net. here is the proof

If you started with a dot info and if it starts working, go ahead focus on your link building not on your domain name.
