Is it just sape? Or private networks too?!

Wich very well hidden network was hit?
Not going to announce it on here lol, its a very private large network. Isn't interlinked throughout so was just a section of it that got hit. Also saw manual penalty warnings for impact links on a couple of sites. Was just wondering if anyone else has seen anything.

All my sites using SAPEs are still alive and well, some of them even increasing.

HUH? How hard could it be for goggle to take say $10,000 or more and buy links from Sape sellers?
With that budget you can cover THOUSANDS of sites in one swipe. How many sxites does Sape have? Google has the resources to find it all at once if they choose to.
Even if they have a million sites what would it cost Google to buy a link on all of them? 10 million, 50 million? If they wanted to they can uncover it.
Thing is Sape will spring up the next month with new sites, so for a time Sape would be hit and just like the rest of us they have to walk away from the hit sites and rebuild.
It will alwyas be cat and mouse. As long as links are being sold, Google has the money to simply buy links to discover a network, which means its will be a constant battle of build it, get destroyed and rebuild again...

i don't think Google needs to go that deep, simply because they don't need to do it.. If they wanted they could kill all current SEO techniques, but then what?? They simply don't care as thats part of their biz.. and from time to time they kill some small random network or SEO technique to show the world they are taking measure against black hatters.. thats the way i see it

You don't need to find all of the sites of a private network to kill it. You just need 30% or even less. How many people will buy links from a private network when they could buy a lot of useless links that do not improve their serps or even get a penalty? If there are 1 million sites in sape that are good and 30% of them are gone, that is 300k sites. What happens if I buy a couple of sites like 100 links from different sites from sape and my site got a penalty? I'm not going to buy from sape again.
G00gle is a company. They are only interested in making money. Destroying sape isn't going to make them money unless it hurts their profits. They may put a tiny bit of resources to destroy sape but they are not really going to be serious at it because right now, it isn't really a problem. Having said that, these private networks are very short term profit. Don't expect ur site to be up and good for more than a year. But that is the SEO game. We don't really know what is going to happen next year so we might as well make a lot of money now.

It is not that hard if google wishes to kill a network
They just come to bhw and buy sape links and screw them..As simple as taking a candy from a baby lol
But they dont really bother for this as it aint hurting their biz atleast

You people that think Sape is going to just keep on trucking are fucking crazy. Google can simply log into Sape themselves and crawl/export all of the sites in there!

I heard that before about at least 3 networks, back in 2011 when I was using it. today, none of these networks exists.
Private networks are for people who prefer rank quick - cash quick - bye bye website model. It's not me anymore, but I understand for some people this is good model.
SAPE will be gone earlier or later.

the private network ive used for years didnt have a single site deindexed.
sape on the other hand- ouch! got hit hard on some of those links.

If you guys think that SAPE users/owners are just going to roll over and let it be trounced by Google you are wrong.

Similar experience here, private blog network links are still working nicely. Cancelled my Sape subscriptions today.
