$1,200.00 Scam by a Hidden BHW Scammer!

MarlboroGuy is his NEW name on the forums. He has went by "HireMe" and has names like Tom Thurmond, David Bailey, Denis Q----- and many more.

Once I found this history of his I immediately accused him of being a scammer and he blocked/deleted me off skype trying to run off with the money.

Where I ask for two social media bots to be coded. He requested $1,200.00 dollars for both bots and once I sent it to him I found this....

I took all the money out of my bank account before Paypal could so he couldn't take the money from me, so I think I am ok. But everyone should know that anyone under these alleged names is a scammer. To top it off, after I told him this was the last money my family has that I am giving him to make these bots for my start-up company, he still took the money with no remorse.

Never doing freelance job again without escrow.

Since he's consistently scamming people, why not post his PayPal email address?

Escrow -Also you need to be careful, I got a offer and its agreed in Escrow platform and the guy send a same structure/css email from [email protected], also he open a transaction in Escrow and as I not aware much of escrow, I thought [email protected] is also escrows mail and send him the online product and finally in Skype he was laughing and saying that he cheated me. I complaint the escrow and escrow said its not possible to stop this kind of fakes mail. So to get a product without spending single penny fake escrow mail is used and as a seller all should be careful... Note: Still that guy is in Hire Freelancer section and I cant open shitlist as its outside BHW, so whenever a buyer insist on escrow please be careful to verify email and their account details. Also verify the skype name in google and mostly cheater name are displayed in the scammed sections of any forums and in my case the very second link in first page of google search reveals he is a online cheater via escrow/skyp

Even if they ban him a hundred times, he'll still return and build a new profilee.or maybe he even has many new profiles, allowing him to just add posts and look like an old timer.he will soon be caught red handed.

What good would that do? Using my same PP account, I can add a new email to it in about 3 minutes, making it look completely different to anyone I sent it to.
 
Hello Yaleinnovator! I had exactly the same problem with this user called "HireMe" (He has later changed his name to MarlboroGuy)... Luckily they have already blocked his account on BHW! He wanted 350$ upfront payment from me, for an iTunes bot. I was lucky enough to get my money back, after seeing a threat in the shitlist here!
PS: He now calls himself Larry Eiler!

Not entirely true, if you have IPN set up on your account, you can fetch all of his personal details whenever he sends you a payment.

Not practical for 99% of people, but just thought i'd share ;)

Guys they said I could not get my money back because it was an "intangible item" since the software was "digital" and not a physical item, they say PayPal's Buyer Protection doesn't cover it. But they gave a me a refund on someone else who failed to deliver a bot and couldn't refund me on this one. Now my Paypal is negative 984 dollars.
