Does Paypal Verify age between PP and Bank account ?

Hey Sorry for newb question but does Paypal verify age between PP and Bank account ? If i put 18 as my PP age but I am only 16 will PP verify that and how will PP find out ? My bank is HSBC Hong Kong

Yes, believe it or not, when I was just 13 I started power selling on Ebay. Some months I averaged 500 transactions, while some 0. It all mattered if I actually pushed my self or not and what time of year it was.

I highly doubt you had a verified PP and bank account at age 12 and sold over 500 items/month. You're not impressing anyone with your lying. It's so easy to spot and makes you seem pathetic.

This is where the problem comes in. You had a bank account at 12 but it has to be a minor bank account with parent ownership (or some shit like that) and then if you were to add that to your paypal then they would have known you were underage. Also 500 transactions then you would of had paypal keeping an eye on you and then they would have asked for you ssn which would give away your age. So either your parents (or an older spouse) set up the accounts (including the checking) or you're blowing smoke.

Yes, you're right, my parents set up my account. And they didn't keep an eye on me at all, or not that I'm aware of. I sold phone cases and chargers for awhile.... It was very cheap. Also, it was never a minor account. It was a regular account linked to my parents checking account. Me and my father have the same name, so my card and information was under his name.

I won't be jealous of you until you are making more than me at around $225 average per day. It seems ludicrous how a 13 year old had a verified PP account and was selling over 500 items per month on eBay.

When i was 16 i opened my PP and a Bank account, of course my parents opened that account for me, i linked both and NEVER have problems, and make a lot of transactions since now. Not 500 like Palestine says, but yes 30-50 monthly.
And if you dont know, not all countries have SSN. They could just ask for docs, but you may know that to some people PP never ask verify his identity. I did it, but they asked me around 3 years later when i started using my CC...

Now this answer seems very reasonable. Most countries don't have an SSN, but another unique identifier. When I lived in Canada we had a SIN (Social Insurance Number) As Paypal isn't based in other countries, they can't really verify those numbers. People on here in the BST actually sell the fake utility bills, ID cards and such for Paypal verification.
