Decent link service recommendation?

I hired Layered Links (link versity I) for one of my sites to give them a shot. Now that the delivery is complete, they gave me a spreadsheet of exactly EVERYTHING they did. I must say, even as a noob, most of what they've done doesn't seem penguin 2.0 safe. I'm seeing almost no relevance whatsoever and, despite them advertising "no engrish" and being an "american company", the articles they wrote and submitted were very poorly done. Not to mention, some of their submissions are duplicate content.

Chalk this up as a learning experience.

I know "white hat link building service" is a bit of an oxymoron but all in all, are there any link building services which any of you have had good success? I like to outsource a little link building on new sites.

Thank you so much for your feedback on this site. I have been also desperately looking for a decent link building service. I hired an SEO consultant and he advised me to use layered links as well.

I just didn't want to jump in and spend $219 just to see if it works.

Did you end up finding a trustworthy one since this post?

For my Sport blog i hired SEOStarlet. I had good results with them...

I bought Standard package and that got me about almost 500 organic visitors/day after first month.

I cannot find any reviews on this site and the Alexa rank is 3 million something.. For an SEO link building service this seems a bit sketchy to me.

Did any of your keywords actually rank?

on their service page they list 2500+ blog comments as tier 2... if you had any doubt that this is a whitehat service you are too naive.

They do the same shit that everyone else does, no surprise there.

Well I agree. Tier 1 it makes total sense, but further tiers is it really worth anyone's time?

SEO Partner does some decent manual backlinking type stuff, but it isn't cheap. In another thread a guy recommended AuraRank. I just may give them a go, they seem heavily reviewed on this forum

If you were to do manual link building yourself would you spin the content or create a unique one for each web2.0 these days?

For your first tier, manual articles. Then for building links to those, rewritten content. However using heavy spun (ultra spinnables) you can use those on your first tier no problem.

One of the ChimpRewriter authors BTW, and we have a lot of dudes doing well with spun content. You just have to do it right and it works great
