Hey guys,

I'm new to domain flipping business. I have registered few domains recently but have no idea what should be the asking price for these domains? . I know the domains value may be different for everybody depending how badly they want it but at least give me a minimum value for them

The domains are

buckfree, howtofigure, 3d-sales
Thanks

I think you answered your question by yourself.
"I know the domains value may be different for everybody depending how badly they want it"

Right now, they are worth whatever you spend on them when you registered.CheerS!

reg fee. maybe mid $$ if you're lucky.

But the thing is, if you hold on to such domains for a long period of time, there becomes a chance of someone starting a business with that exact name and then coming to you to it. Its exactly why I spent $550 on a domain a few days ago. It's like fishing. If you wait long enough, your sure to reel in a catch.

Thanks Mike, so do the keyword search volume or CPC plays any role in the value of a domain?

Thanks SeanAustin, Like your thought on - its like fishing - sure it is.

Create something worthwhile on the domain, and then it becomes worth something.

Want to know same. Cause i registered around 20 domains last year and i only add them in a parking network, but making a very tiny amount monthly.

If you were to put these domains up on any domain forum you would not get any offers. On ebay they may go for $1-2 and to an enduser less then $100 if you are super lucky. Now with that said anything can happen but on those "anything can happen"scenarios they are the same odds of winning the lottery.

I just sold a domain for $5000 but I held on to it for 18 months as well. Sometimes out the blue you get that email "your domain has sold" and other times your email box sits empty for a long time.

The best results I have with super quick flips (within a week of acquiring) is for those who are for a business like a product and sell for less then $300. You got to research those who will make a perfect fit for the name, not just hope and a prayer.

It plays a big role when you are going to develop them.If you don't develop them then its worth nothing. If i go ahead and register InsuranceLawyerTaxMortgageCarsAutoMedical d o t something it prolly will give me a CPC of $150 :D
But i will never get 1 penny for this domain from someone else. You got the point i guess
