I started with 30 micro niches sites last year..after a few months I managed to barely break even from my investment and stopped altogether.

Currently, I work a full time job (45ish hours a week). My dream is to be in a situation where I can travel the world with my GF and work remotely from anywhere in the world. The idea of making a full time living (ON MY OWN TIME) and having just my laptop and an internet connection is an ideal that I'm working towards.

Just turned 25 last month and I'm quickly realizing that the most important thing to me at this point, is freedom of my own time.

Right now, I have a Twitter account with a few hundred thousand engaged followers. A typical tweet of mine will get anywhere from 800-2500 RTs. My most popular tweet ever got 10,000 RTs after a popular celebrity RT'd me. I've been working on this project for 4-5 months now.

Recently, I started tweeting ads to my website (w/ Adsense on it). On a good day I'll make around $300.

This is a screenshot from an Adsense app, taken 2 days ago:

Here is one from yesterday (eventually hit $294):

My goal is $1000 a day in semi-passive income. I'll try to answer any questions and will try to keep this updated. Unfortunately, I won't be answering any personal info that will give my account away or my website.

I'm interested in hearing what you guys are up to and keep this a pretty open convo. Let's get this $.

I wish you the best of luck. Just a quick question, is Adsense your only income source with your own stuff? Might want to work on that if it is.

It is. Can you elaborate a bit as to why? I know it's better to diversify and Adsense can be ban happy.

Can you recommend other ad networks as well?

Relying on a single source of income is never good. While you are alredy doing great by having loads of sites, all of them are monetized from the same vial.

Open up your mind to other monetization methods, if something was to happen (ban, pretty frequent), you would lose all of your income. Instead, try to build a list out of all that traffic, if not, try to place cpa offers or even some amazon products.

Whatever it is, do not rely on a single fountain, it could eventually break.

Yeah, gotcha on that, thanks for the advice. I want to diversify and reach my $1000 from a few revenue streams, taking this one to as high as possible and supplementing the rest with others (maybe dropshipping).

100% important to diversify and not rely on 1 source.

It looks like you're already on your way because your already making some decent money. All that you have to do now is scale it up.

How many visits does your site get when you post a tweet?

It depends on how good the tweet is, time of day, etc.

Anywhere from 5000 to 20,000 unique visitors probably. Each person then usually generates between 1-3 page views.

Well in my opinion; unless you have a real business, making money online is about as volatile as it gets. So solely relying on one source of online income is just irresponsible, reckless and for a lack of a better word suicidal. I mean even if you were to save 80% of your income, and Google Adsense gave you a wide birth and you still had your account in 12 months time... After tax you're only going to have around $150,000/200,000. This might seem a lot of money, but in today's age of inflation and rising living costs it's nothing (in the western world).

I mean if you want stability you need to start building your own business. A lot of the big players who made a lot of money in the affiliate space have done just like that; you might of heard of SaaS's like: WhatRunsWhere, SerpIQ and WordAI.

Don't get me wrong you can still make hell of a lot of money slinging weight loss pills with flogs, but that's not a stable income. The vast majority of weight loss pills are inherently a churn and burn business anyway.
