Is this illegal, what I'm doing? I think, no...

Thank you! ''real looking'' sounds good :) And if someone sells ''mostly inactive real looking worldwide facebook fans'' from addmefast? :D:D:D that would be illegal? I mean, the customer would see that in the statistics...

If you are selling followers from addmefast they are pretty "real" and that's pretty good. Cause they are actually active cause they keep retweeting/favoriting tweets and follow people!
So there is nothing illegal here!

You shouldn't be that afraid there's really no reason for it! Everything you do is normal and completely legal :)

Its completely fine. Everyone on the internet does it.
You wont go to jail or anything.

Legal or not, if they really want to catch people doing these, you have to queue up for a damn long queue.

Doing the same thing since 3 months, my accounts are still alive. You have to remember not to overdo it and everything will fall into place.
OP, pack it in and don't listen to those who haven't clue, let's go and earn some money und alles wird gut.

Just because you're getting away with it doesn't mean it's not against the TOS...

It's definitely illegal...
Read this and see how:

The company said pages that have been abiding by its rules should expect no more than a 1% dip in Likes. Even Zynga's big drop represented only roughly .3% of the more than 65 million people who like that poker page.

Facebook's purge targets inauthentic Likes created a number of ways. Some are caused by malware. Others happen when a user is deceived into "liking" something they may have not intended to like.

In its post, Facebook said it has never allowed Likes to be sold, but that it has caught third-party vendors trying to use malware and other forms of deception to do just that. Similar problems have plagued Twitter, where automated systems have tried to inflate users' follower counts.

"While we have always had dedicated protections against each of these threats on Facebook, these improved systems have been specifically configured to identify and take action against suspicious Likes," Facebook said.

Abiding by rules: following rules. If you don't follow their rules, they can take any action, includes legal actions. They have mountains of money, they have top lawyers who would love to make you an example for others...

Other are doing it, so what... if you are scared of getting caught in the net then don't do it. :)

P.S.:
Others may not get caught even if they sell a million fake likes and followers, you could get caught even if you don't sell 10! It depends on how lucky or unlucky you are, and how much angry they are on all general sellers of fake likes and followers. It can happen tomorrow or in a month or a year. Why take chances, especially when you're scared? :)

Jesus people should just read this post and get on with their lives.

It's technically not "ILLEGAL," but it violates the terms and conditions FB & Twitter, therefore if you're doing it on a scale big enough to hurt their business somehow, they can take legal action against you if they choose.

So its not worth it? I got 1300 people on my homepage because they've seen my offer thorugh fake retweets...I've not sold a penny so far...

You can use the term "Promotion/Promoting" . Also in your disclaimer of your shop/site, mention as reseller.

What do u mean with promotion/promotion ?

In the eyes of the LAW, it's not illegal.

Ethical? no.

Against Twitter/FB Terms of Service : Yes.

If something is against the rules or violates the terms of a service, doesn't necessarily mean it's illegal. Something is illegal when it breaks the law, which isn't the case here.

1350 views in 24 hours on my service but no customers...I think nobody will buy anything :D or I just need more time...thank u for your help

If you want to get away with anything, do it very small or very big.

e.g., if you want to break copyright, do it in small ways at low volume so that you are not worth taking to court, or be Google-sized and make boatloads of money off it so that you stand to take a net profit after legal expenses.

Civil law and contracts are broken everyday for profit, so if you aren't looking at such opportunities, you are at a competitive disadvantage.

Hey I had a good idea. Got a shop where I offer facebook fans, twitter followers, youtube views (and packages) for low prices...I created a Twitter page and post my offers there with link to the product...I generate FAKE RETWEETS to these posts and 284 people retweeted it in 3 hours and like u can imagine (even if many of them are bots) they got follower, sometimes more than 1000....I looked in my shop dashboard to check out the views (and especially to the product-link I let retweet) and woaaaah....271 people clicked on it in 3hours...they SAW the offer and clicked on it because they wanted....is that crazy? I mean, I could get 1000 different people on my shopsite, every day! people who wanted to click on it !

I still didnt have a customer but 2 mesages (about my service etc.)

MAN...

Is that illegal? Or totaly cool?

All I know is that I had a friend in the UK that was making a great living selling twitter followers and twitter sued him & got something like $80,000.
At least that's what he told me via skype and I totally trust him at his word.

Really? Please ! I'm afraid!

lol, if your afraid you should sell your entire concept to someone who is not! You cant sell things that are not built to be sold and then say "im afraid"! On the other hand i haven't heard of anyone getting run down by the cops for it so don't think you should pee your pants just yet! Besides twitter and fb would block accounts that they deem are bots or fake like the recently did!

If they think you are hurting their business, they CAN sue you. You can then debate whether it was legal or illegal on their part. If they sue you then you will know the fact definitely. Until then, don't worry the least.
