I had couple of confusions and there wasn't any thread which gave basic SEO steps from the start. Maybe there are, but they were not clearing my doubts. I'd like to ask couple of quesitons by creating a situation. Hope you guys get it.
Let's suppose, I create a blog regarding Internet Marketing/SEO from the start. I install Wordpress, customize my theme and then, start filling it up with unique articles/tutorials with my specific keywords. Now, since there are no backlinks to my blog, what should be my first step to create backlinks 'cause what I've heard is that Google authenticates a website which has backlinks. Should I be creating backlinks directly of my blog i.e http://abc.com or should I be making backlinks of each article that I post i.e http://abc.com/article-1 and so on. Last but not the least, by saying "create backlinks" does that mean to go and comment on different websites/blogs and include my url in the link? Is that how it suppose to work?
