finding competitor backlinks?

Everyone seems to have tightened up on showing competitor backlinks. Alexa used to be my favorite due to it was free and fairly accurate. ahrefs for free gives you almost nothing. Any better suggestions?

Get an Ahrefs subscription if you can. You can run a lot of reports on competitor backlinks.
Analyse those links. Filter and feed it into an SEO software like GSA.

You can see a lot of links just by using the linkperator in a Google search. You probably won't see all of them but you can get a pretty good idea of whats out there.

A fancy computer is a perk. This is a tool that I think is more important than a fancy computer LOL.

If that were true, how would Google index them? Get the free trial of SEO powersuite. Thats my favourite tool for deep backlink analysis and it's cheaper than ahrefs and all the others .

Different people use different tools for checking competitors backlinks. Some used payed software and some rely upon different free websites. For this purpose opensiteexplorer.org is best to find the competitor backlinks.

There are quite a few free google extensions that show you a sites backlinks. "SEOQuake" and "quick seo by ranksignals" are 2 that I like to use...
