SH!T! It's taking 24x7 i-ppy (ipod) computing to a different lower level altogether... 
You can throw the i-ppy away for 10 minutes, do whatever with whatever you want to do, and come back to the i-ppy (after washing the hands at least)... why waste whatever money you have on those dangerous things? Why make simple things complicated?.......
The intense heat you will generate in the process will definitely blow the battery of the ipod and will of course blow something else too as the battery blows off... that blow job will be too expensive to repair later... anyway, want to lose it so easily?
