Odesk scam Sarah Lyn Daaca, Local citations

I was a little backed up so I paid this Odesk user (Sarah Lyn Daaca) to do some local citations. They did a couple of orders without too many problems. I'm paying by the hour I have you. I then get a charge out of nowhere. I stay on top of my stuff so I knew I had already paid them for the work completed. I message this woman and she claims I had sent her another local citation order. I knew I had not. So I ask her to show me the citation order. She had nothing. Her story then changes twice, she claims she charged me 7 billing hours because she had to check over the orders, then claims that she redid one of the previous orders I sent. It was clear at that point that she had ripped me off. She refuses to send back the money so at this point I'm forced to start a dispute. I figure this would be cut and dry. Surprisingly Odesk sides with her because "she clocked the billing hours" and that's all the proof they need. Very shady stuff. Lesson learned. I had planned on sending Sarah Lyn Daaca more orders is the sad thing.

I left some feedback for her which she gets to review for 2 weeks before it is posted. She has the nerve to ask me to change it, with some Christian sentiments to try to sway me.

Here are a few nuggets:

Thanks for the heads up. I have really come to hate that place. Good to see outside reviews instead of the manipulated crap most of the "coders" get away with on that site. I would like to see a separate section on here just for oDesk shit coders

Im a odesk contractor... You should Hire me...^_^a... of course if its a easy job and have a proper training...;)

hmm... she seems legit to me because of others feedback and hours spent in the odesk...maybe you there is a misunderstanding between the two of you or try to ask her for a refund to remove the feedback you've given... I not side with here even though we are in the same country... but maybe there is a other alternative about it...

Im also a odesk contractor and since 2011 im still working with my only australian client and they are here now in the philippines for vacation... it is really a matter of luck to find someone that is trustworthy these days....

It's possible. I tried everything to get a refund. I couldn't see how someone would be that greedy just to not refund the money. She blatantly lied about the hours.

Can you take out the FB page URL from your post?
