How to get traffic to a blog

I've got a blog created with some very good content, the blog is very clean and looks well enough. I just need some help on how I can drive some traffic & whether or not I should try a different keyword?

You should start by building links to your blog from other websites that are related. Go to websites that already have visitors who may be interested in reading your blog. Join in with the existing communities of those blogs or websites and eventually try to get links to your website. You will start to get traffic and also search engine rankings through the links you build.

What's the best thing to do from scratch? Tried pinterest etc but don't really know how it works & its getting 0 traffic.

Build up a network with other sites with similar topics, also regarding the look, I wouldn't recommend you using a black background, bright colors work better

Forums which talk about the same content. I would suggest bodybuilding forum. I would also suggest the subreddit bodybuilding.
