Just recently I broke my Tibia playing soccer/football. Although it wasn't very painful when it happened the next days were pretty bad. But now that I have a cast from my toes to above my knee I'm feeling much better.

The worst part is that I'm missing my whole senior soccer season at high school because of the accident. But, I should be out and about more and more within the next few days. But if you have ever broken a leg or any bone how was your experience? What was the worst part?

Sounds great, I would have given anything to miss a whole year of football at school.

Broke my foot stepping off a 20cm ledge. Which is ironic because when I was younger I use to fall out of trees onto concrete and so on and never broke anything.

The worst part for me (broke my ankle when I was 14 or so, had a has from my foot to just below my knee, so pretty close to the same scenario) was actually getting the cast off...I took a step and immediately fell right over and the pain was pretty bad...not on the bone, but in my calf muscle. It was amazing how much my calf muscle had not only shrunk, but had fallen into such a state of "pain to use" in such a short time (7 weeks-ish if I remember correctly).

It took me a good two weeks to walk entirely without a limp, and to this day (over a decade later) my left calf muscle is still a bit smaller than my right one.

Use the downtime to make a shit load of $$$.

There's a solid piece of advice. I've broken arms, legs, wrists, etc... Brettehl you'll have to accept that being an athlete has a level of risk attached, and injuries are just the name of the game. You won't get through many years of playing sports at any level above "recreational" without dealing with some form of injury.

Relax, heal up and be glad your leg was broken and not chopped off or blown to pieces.

I did 5 years ago. Jumped pretty high playing basketball at school, and it happened. I t broke in a couple of places, so I had to stay in bed at the hospital for 15 days, and another 2 months at home. Worst experience ever.

I still feel my left leg weaker than the right one.

Yeah I've been told I will be spending a fair amount of time in physical therapy to try to make my right leg back to normal. Although this sucks because I had a pretty good shot at playing soccer in college, I've decided to try to take my drive and motivation from soccer and put it to IM. No more half assing my IM journey.

I'm actually considering making an authority site but I might also buy a prebuilt authority site from the market and make a case study. I'm also thinking about graduating high school a semester early to try to get an internship at a local IM company.

I broke my right hand when I was 8-9 years old :D
I was forced to go to school even with my hand broken, lol... But I was free from home & class works at least :P
I hope you get better sooner :)
