Facebook or twitter fiverr

I'm looking to promote my new website that sells medcine for heartburn and I was wondering if I should use fiverr to promote it. I was thinking on using twitter retweet and facebook share pages.

NO!!!
At least with Twitter, you will be wasting your time completely, and with Fiverr, you are getting low quality social impressions. Facebook, maybe, but that's even a stretch.

Solution: Set up an adwords account with google, if you haven't already, but if you are new, you can snag a lot of free advertising by using a coupon, there are fiverr gigs that provide these coupons.

Set up a Facebook ads account, again on fiverr there are gigs that sell $50 free FB advertising coupons. With something that targets older people, or at least not teenagers, you probably should stick to PPC advertising.

facebook ads will get you massive traffic, and plus facebook allows you to target the right audience using keywords impressions are better then ppc in my opinion tho

I think FB in this case, you would have to know who your target market is exactly though, and how do they use Facebook? You might want to use a funny heart burn video, share it from your page, and then pump up the post with your Advertisement dollars. People use Facebook for fun, same with Twitter, I would post the same funny video on your twitter feed, then try to get other people to share the video on Twitter. That's just my take on it.

I advise you to use social signals services, who provide drip feed shares and retweets. That's useful.
