Worst Web Hosting Provider You Ever Used

Like the title say, I'm gonna share my experience with all the web hosting providers I came across. Till date I have used Hostgator, Dreamhost, Bluehost, iPage, Arvixe, Zyma and 000webhost.

Hostgator : I used to be their customer once, but not now. They are bit over priced. Had good experience in the past.

Bluehost : They are good to host 2 - 3 blogs having decent traffic on their shared hosting server. Most preferably micro-niche sites.

Dreamhost : 50 - 50. They are good as well as bad.

iPage : Good until now. But I must say their cpanel sucks.

Arvixe : I have had lot of down-times and their server response time is too low.

Zyma : I woud recommend you to use 000webhost (Free Host), but don't go for Zyma. They are the most unprofessional guys I ever came across and their service itself sucks.

000webhost : It's a free host. They are good if you want to run a test site or for newbies. Far more better than Zyma.

All your inputs are welcome. I'm only speaking about their shared hosting.

Dreamhost...fuckers just took down my multihosting account because of some copyright shit or whatever. At that time I had ~30 websites in there and they just turned it off, didn't even send me a warning.

Yeah I would, but it's been few years ago, I don't remember all the details and frankly I'm too lazy to do that. I just don't use their services.

The worst hosting experience ever. Bullsh*t marketing about unlimited plans which are HIGHLY limited. Blame your higher traffic on DDoS attacks and disable your hosting. Support team is outsourced from Ukraine and they don't have proper case management and agents are just plain stupid. Ended up losing lot of money and nerves because of them. Avoid in every chance.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Zyma yet apart from OP.

I've been with them in the past, bought it cheap but never the less i'd still like to enjoy the perks of a regular client (instead of making everything to make you a loyal customer they don't care for you);

I've noticed regular down time of my websites and confronted their Support about it, they denied i was telling the truth, I've showed them proof and after a fired up argument they blocked my access to cPanels, accounts, everything with no warning at all, just out of pure wickedness.

So yea, don't go with them like OP mentioned, Free services are better.

I had a shared hosting on Fatcow but then almost all my websites there were deindexed by Google. It doesn't happen on my other shared hostings

I've used iPage up until now and your right, their cpanel is HORRIBLE. I think I might try my luck with Hostgator

I think they might be better now, but h0st winds...
They had a problem in their data center or what ever and managed to delete my 4 websites with no back ups.
In their defense they did offer like 1 years free hosting to make up for it and apparently they invested in new equipment after that but still, once bitten and all.

Never liked hostgator or godaddy, been using byethost since past 12 month, never been better, love it.
