Lately, I've been thinking about creating a blog to host as much material as I can about my career for people to download, basically books and software that you require to study at college, but since I will be hosting Copyrighted material I don't know if there's an actual way to monetize it.

At first, I was thinking about put my files into a PPD such as sharecash, but I consider it's kind of tiresome and annoying and since the blog and material will be in Spanish, the files are going to be downloaded mostly by non US people and those offers are more difficult to complete, so readers will certainly go away and get the stuff somewhere else.

I'm planning on using Wordpress to host my blog so, Can I get banned because of copyrighted material?

Can I apply for AdSense or some other advertisement method?

Thanks in advance.

Yes definitely try for adsense. Once you get enough traffic, you can charge for ad space from others.

Adsense for start. But you can also try CPA methods, my opinion is that you get more profit from this one.

Don't use adsense with copyrighted material, its a T&C breach. I think you are on the right track with PPD and CPA offers which will give you the best chance at converting. I would go with an offshore host if you are upping copyrighted materials, there are a number of offshore hosts posting on this forum. If by Wordpress you mean .wordpress.com then copyrighted material will most likely get you banned.

Once you get traffic, you could get into Spanish CPA networks and use your own content-locker. Either negotiate and ask your network(s) if they'd allow such traffic or you know, just blackhat it.

But first off, are you talking about using a wordpress blog, not a self-hosted wordpress? Because those free wordpress blogs don't allow you to monetize it at all the last time I checked...

I've set it into a free Wordpress blog, but not that I've done much to it, just selected a theme, set a few tweaks, so not a big deal so far. So since it's a free WordPress blog, not possible to monetize it?

So BadyBoySEO, is there risk of getting banned If I get an offshore domain and then install wordpress into it?

Adsense is pretty good for me. Just learn the best placements of it. People's eyes move in an F direction across websites. So use an Adsense heat map and that will show you where the best places to put your ads are.

Adsense be the easiest way to monetize. There is almost no problem of getting approval, and there are plugins to help you manage. Youwould need self-hosted WP though if you are using WP, or you will not be allowed to monetize by using adsense.

once you got traffic redirect your blog to your affiliate or cpa offer related to your niche

you can use chitika or infolink for alternatif ppc
or cpa content locker (but not all cpa allow copyright material)

without a doubt, adsense is your best option..but unfortunately, it is also your toughest option...once you manage to get accepted into adsense then you can make a fairly good income with it, provided you have a profitable keyword....but in the start, i would suggest using some good adsense alternatives like adhungama or chitika ... then when your site really takes off and gets humongous traffic, you can post it on buysellads and dictate your price...all the best

With my blog I started out with adsense, but the moved to CPA and my conversion rates have changed a lot. For the better :D
