Am I on the right track?????

So basically I have a .us domain with a good KW.

Although it is .us I still think I can monotize on it fairly well.

I have 2 pages on it so far with great unique articles.

I plan on adding 3 more pages to the site.

I have a plan on what to do next and just wanted to know if I'm moving down the right track with my idea.


Step 1. Create a new unique article at least 500+ words long.

Step 2. Spin that article to make 4 more additional articles all with different tiles.

Step 3. Use software? or manually submit the articles to sites like squidee, wordpress blogs, other sites, etc? With the URL in the tile of each submission?

Step 4. Create backlinks pointed to the URL's of the submitted spun articles? using backlink blasts etc??

Step 5. Watch Unique visitors to my site increase??


Is this somewhat how I should be going about doing this??

Is there any thing I am missing or should add or not do?

Just looking for a nudge in the right direction.

Read more into "tiered" link buying. If your site is brand new I would not "blast" links to it.

I wasn't going to blast links to the "money site" but to the URLs that contain my spun article submissions.

I also am trying to do this at no cost right now, to at least be able to make enough to pay for a couple fivr gigs a month to help with paying for more extensive investments.

They say you should do everything manually at first and automatize/outsource it only after you fully understand it, and I'd agree.

Depending on competition, your tactic should work. You should start with really low competition keywords if you're trying to do this with 0 cost, so you can start to analyze and understand what works. It's not as simple as just blasting links to your website, and on the other hand there's a lot of misinformation around so you really have to do your own tests.

Actually I would only put it in the Youtube submission if making a video.

I would actually have a link in the article itself.

Only over time I mean, since theoretically if all the previous steps were done correctly, my visitors should increase.

Yes, On-Page SEO is complete and I know of it.

I only asked because people do sometimes talk about keywords as singular words related to the main keyword, and also refer to keywords as long tail phrase keywords etc. Wasn't sure if he was talking about which one or both, or even it it matters.

A keyword is a keyword, doesn't matter if it's a single word, or a long-tailed one consisting of 3 or more words. If used repetitively but not over used, it's very effective, as is using variations of the same. Google will have an easier time understanding the relevancy of your content this way, but and the same time will realize you're not creating spam if you do it correctly.

Nice plan, you should be focusing on fresh content and good quality backlinks instead on quantity
create a couple of social signals and submit your RSS feeds to agregators to enhance your domains authority

I don't think the .us has many opportunities for monetization, but I don't know what is on your site, so I can't say for sure. Also make sure all your content is unique

^^ both points are great:
- Social signals are a very cheap option, if not free by exchanging points through social sharing sites. Re-tweeting and Re-pinning I've found to be very good for prompt indexing of content AND traffic.
- Providing RSS feeds to get aggregated is a good option, it also helps with indexing as well, and makes a one time setup and submission a very reasonable and beneficial option.

If you're short on funding to purchase automation programs or simply a lack of time to do off-site SEO research, those two steps that watsonovedades mentioned above a great options and both beneficial.
