are you guys all directing your pins to your own website where you have adsense? and as for posting 100+ pictures a day, how do you find 100 relevant photos everyday? Sorry if these questions are really nooby.

If you have Scrapebox use Image grabber addon and download lots of photos fast by keyword if not do it manually on Google images.

I'm repining pins in my niche so I use the description already on the pin.I'm using Ninja Pinner.Once in awhile I use hashtags in my niche.

I direct my pins to my blog which redirects to my money site.If don't have scrapebox I would just repin other pins in your niche.

Well guys I'm just about to hit 700 followers no sales yet.My new account only has one pin and I followed 300 people for now.I have 6 followers on it.
I think working one board at a time is the way to go..If you do one board at a time you will get more followers and ripins and get more backlinks and a better page rank.After you rank your board create a new board and you will get more followers and repins faster.
I think this is better because making a ass load of boards with a few pins is kind of a dead end from a SEO standpoint.

Not really..My original account had almost 4000 followers and I only made 2 sales on that account.I think Pinterest is a long term thing.

You're right about pinterest being a long term solution. I Have pins from months ago still driving steady traffic, but the key is to have multiple accounts working at the same level as your 1 account. Scale with more accounts if you want to see sales faster

Edit from my post above....I'm at over 600 followers not 700.Still no sales yet.Starting monday i'm going to unfollow everybody i'm following and start following more people and adding some more pins.
One thing I think is really important is to follow people in your niche.This is what I have been doing and getting a nice bit of followers.

Pinterest is longterm thing and followers might be not that most important factor.

I have 7 of my paged indexed now on my main account and 1 page on my new account.Letting them just sit seemed to work out.No sales yet.I also unfollowed everybody I was following and only lost 3 followers.
I did like 230 images 2 days ago with a 30 second delay between 3 likes.Not sure if that had anything to do with my other pages getting indexed.None of my images are indexed yet but hope to see alot more traffic when they do.

Does anyone know if all hits that come from pinterest in my site stats are genuine? or are they pinterest bots checking for redirects etc
I see a lot of twitter referrers when I used to utlitise that but I think a lot of the traffic was just twitter hitting my site and not actual visitors.

Can anyone tell me if Pinterest cares if a image is unique or not? Or maybe they care if the url is unique? What I currently do is scrape the images of popular pins and download/repost them on my site, then pin them to multiple accounts. Seems like when I do this though I get tons of traffic, then it slowly dies down. I'm wondering if they put more stock into that first pin from the image/url. So If you pin 100 of the same image from your site, the very first pin of that image will get the most juice on Pinterest?

The reason you get a ton of traffic then it dies down is because your images show up on Pinterest front page when you pin it.Seeing you have a lot of accounts is why your getting a lot of hits..The traffic dies down when your images go further down the page.

I've been using Pinterest for 1 month now, and I have to say it will deliver some nice traffic, but I couldn't get them to buy something. But traffic is always good. I think I just need to follow more people from my niche and pin stuff. Thanks for opening this thread.

If anyone is able to get traffic with new accounts, i can help you monetize it. I used to make $1000+ a day with pinterest but got into other things. Now I am trying pinterest again, but things have changed and getting traffic isnt easy like it was months ago. (at least i havent figured out how)

I'm sure that does happen. But that wouldn't solve the surge I get from the initial pins and not from the ones later. I have bots that pin on a pretty regular basis, so it's not like I pin a bunch then stop all together. It's a constant stream of pins coming from my sites on to my accounts. Or are you saying only the original pin from that image url goes on the front page and not the others?
