i have see news channel then i read g mail policies, there is no privacy regarding emails we send and receive , all our emails are read by Google and us government. Any one knows about it ? i heard this first time

No, Google did not say that there is no privacy in Gmail
Earlier on Tuesday, Google was quoted by Consumer Watchdog, RT.com (Russia Today) and Gizmodo as having argued in a legal motion that
customers have "no legitimate expectation of privacy", but the quote has been taken out of context.
Here's the passage in question:
"Just as a sender of a letter to a business colleague cannot be surprised that the recipient's assistant opens the letter, people who use web-based email today cannot be surprised if their emails are processed by the recipient's [email provider] in the course of delivery. Indeed, "a person has no legitimate expectation of privacy in information he voluntarily turns over to third parties.""
It certainly looks like a damning statement that exposes an apparent disdain on Google's part for consumer privacy.
Google's lawyers are drawing from Smith v. Maryland, a case that decided a telephone company installing a pen register to track dialed numbers did not constitute illegal wiretapping.
The legal issue at stake in the court decision was whether the customer had a "legitimate expectation of privacy".
The case that Google is currently defending itself in is a class action lawsuit arguing that Gmail's feature for scanning emails to target ads goes against wiretap laws.
It's technically accurate that Google used the quote in its legal defense, but using that fact to claim that Google has completely given up on user privacy is both sensational and disingenuous.
The company is, after all, bound to its own privacy policy.

But they take the time to scan your emails in order place ads. I'm not saying that they do anything else with your email, but just the fact that they have the ability to scan it says something.

My goodness, have you not heard about Google's partnership with the National Intelligence Agency (NSA)? Regardless of what Google shares with the government, Google is on a fucking crusade to monetize humans. Nothing you share with Google is private. Analytics, Adsense, Webmaster Tools, their toolbar and a host of other products/services given away for free are done so in an effort to collect data. If you really value your privacy, remove all Google products from your sites, your computer and install a browser plugin that kills the Google JavaScript code used on other sites you may visit.

If you have a mobile phone then google "malte spitz data retention" the top article should be a german news article that will show how much information is available from one 6 month example, it's kinda scary how much information governments have on their citizens.
It's not a big deal unless you're doing something illegal. I find it funny how people freak out at the thought of having their e-mail scanned for ads (or even manually reviewed because you used a flagged keyword). I highly doubt that the Government gives a fuck about what you did last night with your friends, so stop acting like privacy is a big issue. There are more ways than one to get the information they need, starts with companies like Google, ends with your ISP. If you want complete privacy online, cancel your internet subscription, throw away your electronic devices, and stay away from anything that functions without wires.
